BLACKPINK is now gearing for their return and they may start it with a virtual concert. Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé and Lisa will collaborate with "PUBG Mobile" to hold a virtual in-game show by the end of this month.

BLACKPINK will reportedly make their much-awaited official comeback in August. Aside from a new album, they are also said to be holding a world tour.

AllKpop revealed the upcoming virtual concert of the all-girls group would be called "BLACKPINK x PUBG Mobile 2022 In-Game Concert: The Virtual." It will be seen in North and South America from July 22 to 23 and July 29 to 30.

For other countries around the world, the virtual concert can be seen from July 23 to 24 and July 30 to 31. For more details, fans should visit "PUBG Mobile" official Twitter page to know how to download the game by July 15 to get free concert tickets.

Meanwhile, YG Entertainment officially announced BLACKPINK's return with new music in August. The agency also revealed that the girls are in the "final stages of recording a new album."

The label's press release said BLACKPINK is now working on a "continuous large-scale project that will extend through the second half of the year," per MTV. In addition, they will hold the biggest world tour in the history of a K-pop girl group by the end of the year.

The company sees this move as a way to "expand the girls' rapport with fans worldwide." As this happens, this will be the second world tour the "How You Like That" hitmakers will hold after "In Your Area World Tour" between 2018 and 2020.

However, there are no words yet on when exactly BLACKPINK will drop their new music and when their next tour will begin. It's also yet to be revealed how many stops they will hold.

Meanwhile, the group members themselves have been teasing their imminent return even before YG confirmed the news. In March, Jennie graced the YouTube channel "The Game Caterers," along with other artists from the music label, and teased the group's return.

She said BLACKPINK would make a comeback soon, though she didn't know if she was allowed to say it. But since she was the only group member present on the show, she said it anyway.

"Please look forward to it," she stated. This would be the first time BLACKPINK would have a new release after almost two years since they dropped their first studio-length album, "The Album," in 2020 and their collaboration song with Selena Gomez, "Ice Cream."
