Despite their busy schedules, BTS still finds time to relax and read their favorite books. In fact, they have seen flipping a book open whenever they're not doing something when in production, as seen in some of their behind-the-scenes clips.
With that said, here are the 10 book recommendations that BTS members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V and Jungkook read.
1. 'Almond' by Sohn Won Pyung
AllKpop revealed this book was featured in "In the Soop" being read by Suga. It follows the story of Yunjae, who has a brain condition called Alexithymia, making it hard for him to be scared or angry. However, one act of violence changes his world.
2. 'The Midnight Library' by Matt Haig
This book was also seen in "In the Soop." It features a library where each book shows its readers a life they could have lived.
3. 'Life Lessons' by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler
Suga also recommends this novel by Elisabeth Kubler-Ross and David Kessler. The authors aim to guide their readers through the "practical and spiritual lessons" they need to learn to live life to the fullest.
4. 'Pachinko' by Min Jin Lee
"Pachinko" follows the story of Korean immigrants living in Japan. Recently, Apply TV adapted this into a TV series led by Lee Min Ho.
5. 'Demian' by Hermann Hesse
Another BTS member who's a big reader is RM, per Times of India. It's an excellent psychological portrait of a troubled young man's quest for self-awareness.
6. 'Me Before You' by Jojo Moyes
RM is also a fan of this 2012 romance novel, which was later adapted into a movie starring Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin. It tells the story of Louisa Clark as she falls in love with her boss, who lost his will to live after a motorcycle accident left him paralyzed.
7. 'The Little Prince' by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry
"The Little Prince" is one of Jungkook's favorite reads. This timeless classic tells the story of love, friendship, loneliness and loss.
8. 'I Decided to Live as Me' by Kim Soo Hyun
Jungkook also recommends this Korean book that is highly popular overseas. Author Kim Soo Hyun reveals this novel will help its readers love and respect themselves.
9. 'Living, Loving and Learning' by Leo F. Buscaglia
BTS's J-Hope also has his book recommendations, "Living, Loving and Learning" by Leo F. Buscaglia. It features a collection of the author's lectures as he reveals life challenges and the wonders of love.
10. 'The Alchemist' by Paulo Coelho
Another favorite read of Suga is Paulo Coelho's "The Alchemist." It follows the story of Santiago, who beings an adventure to find the treasure in the Egyptian pyramids only to find love and learn the true importance of his identity.
