A royal expert claimed Prince William and Kate Middleton gave up on their dream to live in London to prioritize their kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. The family is about to move to Windsor so that they can be near the children's school in Berkshire.

The three young royals grow up at their residence in Kensington Palace in London. But, everything will change as they're set to move to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor later this month as Prince William and Kate Middleton want them to have as normal lives as possible.

Omid Scobie said, via Express, that living in London was originally the Cambridges' dream, but Kensington Palace might not be the best place for their kids to grow up in. They reportedly first considered moving back to their home in Norfolk but chose Windsor so that they could still be near London and fulfill their royal duties.

However, instead of buying the four-bedroom, Grad II-listed Adelaide Cottage, the two decided to rent it privately. This will be the new place where Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis will live as they continue their school years.

Aside from being near their school, their new home will also give the kids the freedom they need. They can freely roam around the 655-acre land, thanks to the Crown Estate's well-established on-site security.

However, People confirmed that Prince William and Kate Middleton would live this time without their stay-in nanny, Maria Borrallo. Borallo has been with the Cambridges since Prince George was only eight months old.

She also cares for Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis. But as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's new home only has four beds, there's no room for Borallo to stay.

So, does this mean Borallo will leave the family? No, the royal couple will still keep her as the kids' caretaker, but she may live at another home.

She will be with Prince William and Kate Middleton's other staff, like the housekeepers. Anyhow, it can't be denied that this will be a major adjustment for the kids, who have lived with their nanny for the past eight years.

In fact, Borallo has attended a number of royal events, usually having close-up seats and often wearing the traditional uniform of Norland College, where she received her top-tier training in childcare. She also usually joins the family on vacations and stays with them at their country home in Norfolk, Anmer Hall.
