The American broadcaster and writer Wendy Williams is accused of lying after she responded to questions about her civil status.

A source told Star that Williams sparked rumors that she is married to an NYPD officer named Henry. And she finally responded to the claims during a recent interview. And to everyone's surprise, Williams claimed that she was married.

However, the magazine's insider claimed that this isn't the case. So, Williams' response came as a shock to everyone because it was clear that she lied.

It's unclear why Williams would do such a thing but her former colleagues and other fans have been noticing how erratic her behavior has become. In fact, some people have already cried foul because of how Williams has been acting.

"She's not married. It's a bizarre thing to say, especially when it's not true, but Wendy's behavior has been erratic, to say the least. Friends and family are worried she's losing it. They wonder whether this cop exists anywhere but in Wendy's mind," the source said.

Last week, Williams also made headlines after some people came forward to detail her behavior on The Wendy Williams Show. A report published by The Hollywood Reporter revealed that Williams struggled to accept the fact that her talk show was ending.

What's worse is that Williams became worried after realizing that she would no longer have work. So, she allegedly pretended not to know or remember that she was already informed about the cancelation of her show.

Every time she would talk to the producers and execs, Williams would allegedly ask why her show was not renewed even if she already knew the answer.

An insider also came forward to reveal that Williams kept empty bottles of alcohol in weird places inside her workplace. For instance, some bottles were found hidden on the ceiling, and others were found in the cupboards or under rugs.

This suggests that William's problems with drinking continue to persist and that she also came to work drunk.

In fact, the producers were also forced to air an old episode after realizing that one of her pre-taped clips showed her looking intoxicated. Of course, they couldn't air the episode so they had to think quickly on their feet.

The bottom line is, William allegedly caused more harm than good that's why she had to be let go.
