A royal expert strongly believes Prince Harry and Prince William's feud would have never happened if Princess Diana were only alive today. The royal siblings reportedly fell out after Meghan Markle came into the Duke of Sussex's life, though a royal author claimed it started long before the former actress entered the picture.

BBC's former royal correspondent Jennie Bond said on "GB News" that Princess Diana would be "absolutely distraught" knowing her two sons were feuding. Prince Charles' ex-wife would have "sorted them out" if she were only alive.

The show's host Anne Diamond said, via Express, that the People's Princess would have "avoided the whole problem" if she were still around. "I think she would have sorted them out somehow," Bond told Anne and the latter's co-host Stephen Dixon.

If the Princess of Wales were still here, this feud would have never happened or turned this bad. She would surely be worried seeing the two princes' situation today.

Meanwhile, royal commentator Natalie Oliveri discussed author Andrew Morton's comments on 9Honey about Princess Diana's friends saying the late princess would be "deeply saddened" knowing the tension between Prince William and Prince Harry.

When asked about the two dukes' feud, Morton believed their mom would be distressed to see how things had played out for her kids. Oliveri claimed she would be mortified with what they got themselves into, calling it an "emotional tangle."

Andrew said Princess Diana believed the Duke of Sussex was his older brother's wingman and was there to support him from day one, per The List. Prince William and Prince Harry's relationship has been strained for the last few years, but the latter was said to be unhappy with his royal life even before he met and married Meghan Markle.

"The Palace Papers: Inside the House of Windsor-The Truth and Turmoil" author Tina Brown claimed things took a turn when Prince Harry left the armed forces in 2015. He had all these interests in Africa and conservation, but Prince Harry "always had to play second banana."

Hence, that "became a major tension between them." Brown continued that Prince William had this great destiny ahead of him, becoming the king someday, so he knew who he was.

Alternatively, Prince Harry had been questioning whether he would always be Uncle Andrew. However, things definitely changed when Meghan Markle entered the picture.

Prince Harry was said to be infuriated when Prince William told him not to rush to propose to Meghan Markle. The Duke of Cambridge was also said to be angry when his younger brother suggested that Kate Middleton could be "friendlier" to the Duchess of Sussex, believing she should be just as "appreciated as their mother," Princess Diana.
