For his wife, this summer is a time for self-discovery, finding new hobbies, going out of her comfort zone, and staying active. In the clip, she shared a montage of her activities, from gardening to working out to painting to playing tennis.

She then admitted that her grief could be paralyzing, but she's learning how to live alongside it. She even revealed the advice she received from her step-daughter Scout LaRue Willis, saying, "grief is the deepest and purest form of love."

As she found comfort in those words, Emma hoped others could find ease in those, too. Suggest revealed that aside from Emma, her two daughters and Bruce's three kids with Demi Moore are all grappling with their dad's diagnosis.

The family posted the same statement on their social media accounts to reveal that the "Die Hard" actor suffered was diagnosed with aphasia. According to Hopkins Medicine, aphasia is a disorder caused by the damage in the specific area of the brain that controls language expression and comprehension.

Hence, the person suffering from it cannot effectively communicate with others. The family's announcement also came with a revelation that Bruce had decided to retire from acting.

So, how is Bruce today? DailyMail revealed that "The Sixth Sense" star made a rare public outing on Monday, August 29, and appeared to be in high spirits. He posed for a picture with a fan in Santa Monica, California, and was seen laughing and smiling.

Meanwhile, Bruce's diagnosis is said not to be new. In fact, he has been hiding this condition for many years already.

However, he still managed to make a dozen of films over the last decade, and nine of those projects were released this year, while one was listed as in post-production. So, how did he manage to continue filming?

According to reports, he would either be fed his lines through an earpiece or have someone off camera read them to him. From there, Bruce could repeat the words in front of the camera and deliver his lines perfectly.
