Leonardo DiCaprio seems to be showing an interest in a woman who is older than 25 years old. Allegedly, the famed "Titanic" actor is getting to know another supermodel, Gigi Hadid, after his recent breakup with Camila Morrone.
Rumors have it that DiCaprio and Hadid have been spending some time together in New York City. In fact, a source revealed they are now in the "getting to know each other" stage.
However, despite the alleged brewing romance, a source told People that they are "not dating" yet. But, it can't be denied that the "Wolf of Wall Street" star is "pursuing" the single mom of one.
Allegedly, they are seen hanging out with other groups a few weeks after DiCaprio and Morrone called it quits. To add more fuel to the fire, a different source told Page Six that a few of the actor's close friends, including his art dealer BFF Helly Nahmad, attended Zayn Malik's ex's clothing line launch party at Le Chalet in L'Avenue at Saks last week.
However, it wasn't revealed if the 47-year-old film producer was also there. Reps for the two stars are yet to give a comment about the issue.
Meanwhile, the news about DiCaprio and Hadid comes after the former ended his four-year relationship with another model, Morrone. The breakup happened two months after the up-and-coming star celebrated her 25th birthday, reigniting the theories that DiCaprio usually ends his romance with women after hitting their mid-20s.
However, as Hadid is already 27 years old, she seems to be an exception. DiCaprio and Morrone's split caused a flare of internet memes due to the "Don't Look Up" star's track record of only dating women aged 25 and below.
A lot of netizens have joked that he will usually dump a woman once their brain has fully developed. Celebrity Nine.Com.Au noted that the last part of the women's brain that fully develops is the prefrontal context and it usually occurs at the age of 25.
However, others claim that it is the women who get over dating DiCaprio when they have finished developing their prefrontal cortex. After everything that has been said and done, Morrone doesn't let the split from DiCaprio put her down.
She's reportedly moving on with her life and chose not to be in contact with her ex. A source confirmed to People that she's doing fine and has been surrounded by a group of friends who really care about her.
