Chuu will not be part of LOONA's concert, and it looks like the idol has no idea about it. In fact, fans seem to notice that the K-pop star hasn't been notified about her group's activities, alluding she's out of their group chat.
Chuu's latest revelation about being unaware of her exception from LOONA's concert sparks controversy. Does this mean she doesn't belong to the group's conversations?
A post on the online community Pann Nate, titled "What's Really Going on with Chuu?" on September 26, seemed to contend that the 22-year-old star was the only one who didn't receive an update about the "2022 LOONA 1st WORLD TOUR [LOONATHEWORLD] IN SEOUL" when her fellow members already knew about it. The event will be held at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium on October 15 and 16.
The post creator even posted her message from the fan communication app Fab and a note from another group member, Yeojin. Chuu claimed "they didn't" give her any notification about attending the afternoon's schedule, adding it made her sad.
Alternatively, Yeojin revealed that all the LOONA members had received an update about their event's schedule through their group chat. She wrote the announcement and schedule chart were given through their group chat with all the 12 members. So, she already knew about it and even revealed she was excited.
Hence, fans started to speculate that Chuu might be removed from the group chat and that she was "intentionally left out." The "Chuu Can Do It" star later clarified things by addressing the issue, which she saw "spreading in a weird way."
She explained that it didn't mean she could participate in their entire schedule once it was uploaded. The company still needed to make a confirmation and send it to her to know if she needed to participate in it or not.
However, despite Chuu's claims that she didn't receive the notice about the concert, MyMusicTaste, a K-pop concert-related platform, confirmed, via NME, she wouldn't be part of the "2022 LOONA 1st WORLD TOUR [LOONATHEWORLD] IN SEOUL" a couple of weeks ago.
After unveiling purchasing information for concert tickets and concert merchandise on September 21, MyMusicTaste announced that Chuu wouldn't participate in the two-night event this October. In fact, her absence was first announced in June when her label, Blockberry Creative, revealed it was because of her "scheduled activities that have been fixed in advance throughout the rest of the year."
