"Black Clover" Chapter 340 raw scans have finally dropped, giving fans a glimpse of the development of Asta's training. The protagonist is learning to use Zetten and stunning everyone with his effortless ability.
Asta is showing how strong he has become, thanks to the help of Ichika's training. However, the training is not far from over, and he still has a lot of work to do in "Black Clover" Chapter 340.

The spoilers begin with Asta using Zetten on bamboo stalks, making Ryuya, Fumito, and Ichika impressed and shocked at the same time. Ryuya then asks him to transform, which he willingly obeys, surprising Fumito once more.
However, Ichika is unimpressed by his latest move, asking him questions about his new form. She suddenly starts to attack him, indicating that their training has officially begun.
Asta has to be in his Devil Union form as the training begins as Ichika continuously attacks him in "Black Clover" Chapter 340. She kicks him high up into the sky, gives him endless punches, and another massive hit.
Ichika's attacks have left Asta with huge damage, resulting in major injuries. Asta feels like he's about to faint with all the damage he has suffered but tells his body to wait so that he can calculate his strength.
He says his famous "madada," which means not yet, to Ichika, who gives him another huge smack that brings him to the ground. Ryuya and Fumito advise Asta "not to let his nonsense get to his head" and call him a fool.
Asta eventually gets knocked out. Ryuya says Ichika may have overdone the training a bit, to which the latter explains that they're in a real battle.
She also stresses she's "infuriated," making Fumito scared. "Black Clover" Chapter 340 ends with Ryuya laughing at Asta, but Ichika tells him to stop.
Meanwhile, "Black Clover" Chapter 399 saw Asta insisting on leaving the land of the sun and returning to the Clover Kingdom to save Sister Lily and defeat Lucius. However, the shogun told him it would be a waste as he would only end up being killed by the villain.
Asta was surprised to see Ichika, Yami's little sister, who didn't care about her brother. As he continuously demanded to leave, Ichika slapped him and told him Ryuyu had saved him, so he must follow and respect his decision.
She then taught him how to manipulate Ki and use Liebe's anti-magic as a projectile weapon through it. Asta made it on the first try, feeling glad he could get stronger again with the newfound techniques.
