Rain, Kim Tae Hee, Jo Jung Suk, and the professional golfer Park Kyung have broken their silence over the cheating allegations surrounding their name. The two actors have denied that they have cheated on their wives, Kim Tae and Gummy, with Park, and their agencies are now on the move to take legal action against everyone who has spread the malicious allegations.
The controversy began when Woman Sense magazine reported a rumor about the "top star" who cheated on his wife with a pro-golfer and had a separate apartment with her. The so-called top star was described as a top-tier star of all stars, who's a pro in singing, dancing, acting, and is married to a woman famous for her incredible beauty and intelligence.
Allegedly, the woman has already discovered her husband's illicit affair and warned him about it. Rain's name first emerged as the cheating husband, so his agency, J.Tune Entertainment, promised to take legal action against the one behind the baseless rumors.
Alternatively, his wife's agency, Story J Company, responded to the claims. News media outlet Chosun Ilbo unearthed the conversation between the actress and the company, explaining they didn't have to respond to a "completely groundless story."
It continued that when the "Stairway to Heaven" star first learned about the rumor, she just laughed it out, finding it "so ridiculous." She even claimed that she had never seen Park all her life despite being rumored to have an affair with her husband.
In addition, Jo Jung's agency, JAM Entertainment, also showed its tough stand against the claims, calling the rumors "completely untrue and absurd." It stressed that its talent had never met, let alone had a personal connection to Park or any female golfer.
It also asked the public to stop sharing false news about Jo Jung and revealed its plan to take strong legal action to protect its artist against defamation.
Meanwhile, Park also spoke against the cheating allegations that she allegedly had an affair with Rain and Jo Jung. In a post on Instagram, she denied the claims, calling them absurd.
She then revealed that she only saw them at a sponsorship event years ago, which was also the last time. She didn't know their number and called the ones behind the rumors "bad people."
Park admitted that she didn't look like Kim Tae but was grateful for the comparison. "I can't believe this is happening," she added in disbelief.
