A lot has been going on in Yuki Tabata's "Black Clover" franchise. Aside from a new anime movie, the manga is now working on its big story finale. So, how will Asta end the reign of the great villain Lucius Zogratis in the series?
A grand "Black Clover" manga finale is awaiting fans as Tabata himself has prepared to give his brainchild the fittest conclusion after taking a lengthy hiatus. The manga is now on its final arc, seeing Asta and the rest of the Clover Kingdom preparing for the coming huge war.
With that said, the manga's Volume 32 will soon be out, and the franchise celebrates this big step by releasing a new trailer featuring Asta and other major characters from the series. The clip seems to be made to prepare fans for the upcoming series' ending, bringing them down memory lane with a good look back.
It shows Asta's incredible development after joining the Magic Knights for the first time. It also shows his friendship with Yuno, his fights, and everything in between.
The "Black Clover" manga is now in the final arc's first major phase, though it remains to be seen how long Tabata plans to let it run. So far, Asta has finally begun his training and discovered a new power that will help him fight the last standing member of the Dark Triad.
As the training arcs are known for not running too long, fans will soon witness the intense fights between these two. The final arc will feature Judgment Day, the last war between a powerful new force and the Clover Kingdom.
However, this may last a little longer as it's expected to be an expansive war featuring a number of great battles. There are no words for when "Black Clover" Volume 32 will officially be out.
In other news, the franchise's official website has finally dropped the title and release date of the much-awaited "Black Clover" movie. A year after the anime series ended after four seasons, a new film was announced.
Titled "Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King," it will be out in theaters on March 31, 2023, in Japan. Thankfully, it will also premiere worldwide on Netflix, so fans around the world can see it at the same time as its theatrical release.
Tabata has also worked on the film's visuals as the original character designer and its chief supervisor. As it reportedly tells an original story, fans will meet new faces, like the former Wizard King Konrad Leto, voiced by Toshihiko Seki.
