A Twitter user drops a first look at "Chainsaw Man" Episode 2, focusing on Denji. As the anime begins, it's about to introduce two major characters and their importance in the story.
The anime adaptation of Denji's story has finally begun. Now that "Chainsaw Man" Episode 2 is about to come out, the image seems to hint at the aftermath of what happened in the premiere episode.
The next episode's first still gives a full look at Denji. With wide eyes, the boy looks into trauma after the events in the first episode.
By his looks, he seems to be trying his best to keep his "emotions on lock." He may no longer be in this situation, though, after the official introduction of Makima.
The premiere episode only introduced Denji and Pochita so far. So, "Chainsaw Man" Episode 2 is expected to bring out some of its major characters.
Aside from Makima, Aki may also be introduced, and their bond in the series will finally be seen on the small screen. Are they the two major characters the next episode will introduce?
These characters aren't mentioned in the first episode and will play major roles in the rest of the series' plot. In addition, fans will get to know Denji's life as a Public Safety Devil Hunter.
Though it may not be luxurious by any means, it will be a huge improvement compared to his life with Pochita alone. The mysterious woman's arrival at the end of the episode also hints at the new world Denji is about to have.
Meanwhile, "Chainsaw Man" Episode 1, titled "Dog & Chainsaw," started with the introduction of the lead character, Denji. The protagonist is only a young boy who's facing a huge debt.
Thankfully, he will finally be employed as a Devil Hunter with his trusty dog, Pochita, who's also the Chainsaw Devil. One day, the pup took him to a warehouse and told him they had started to ally with the Zombie devil.
From there, things started to get violent. A fight ensued, and suddenly, Pochita's blood went into Denji's organs.
Things began taking their course, and Denji became a hybrid devil. By the end of the episode, fans officially saw Denji as Chainsaw Man, and Makima was the only one who knew his real identity.
The story is just starting, and fans are about to know more when "Chainsaw Man" Episode 2 drops on Tuesday, October 18.
