Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin will welcome the holidays as a family of three. The couple welcomed their first child, a healthy baby boy, on Sunday, November 27.

The company revealed, via AllKpop, that the 40-year-old star gave birth to a baby, and they were both healthy.
It was initially reported that the actress would give birth in December, but the child came earlier than expected. For starters, the new mom announced the news of her pregnancy in an emotional post on Instagram in June.
Long before Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin started a romance, they seemed to be preparing to be the best parents one day. About ten years ago, he revealed he always looked at baby shoes and bought some to collect in an appearance on a Korean reality show, where he went to Hawaii.
He visited a Foot Locker store and spotted some baby shoes at the time, asking the viewers if the pairs didn't look cute. He then mentioned that one of the gifts he would give his future son was letting him wear "cute shoes."
By the looks of it, he was already thinking about how to spoil his child when he had one a decade ago. Alternatively, in an interview to promote her then-new movie, "Be With You," in 2018, Son Ye Jin revealed that she wanted to become precious to a family when she married.
"I've never lived with that kind of feeling and I want to try it," she said, via Soompi. She also touched on the topic of motherhood and explained that she had loved children after seeing her sister look after her child.
The "Thirty-Nine" star continued that she never thought she wanted to be a mother after seeing her sister's kid. However, she still couldn't imagine herself as a mom at the time.
Son Ye Jin continued that she wanted to take care of others first. She believed she would be too involved if she were to get married and have a child, knowing she had always worked too hard at everything.
This just proves that Son Ye Jin and Hyun Bin will be the perfect parents to their son as they can be.
