Al Roker is, reportedly, back at the hospital a day after his discharge on Thanksgiving Day. The weather anchor on NBC's "Today" has an ongoing health scare due to blood clots but has improved.

Roker was said to be rushed back to the hospital via ambulance after falling ill on Friday, November 25, a day after he missed hosting Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in 27 years. At the time, he was just released from his first hospital trip this month.

Sources told Page Six that the 68-year-old presenter's wife, Deborah Roberts, was panicking when the ambulance took her husband. The insider added that the author was taken from his home on a stretcher

The tipster claimed Roberts tried to break their Tesla to get her mobile phone and other belongings to follow the TV personality to the uptown Manhattan hospital after it malfunctioned and wouldn't unlock. She attempted to smash the glass window on the car's front side with a neighbor's help outside their Upper East Side home but to no avail.

She was understandably very upset. The fellow TV journalist just made her way to the hospital by riding a taxi with her daughter.

Thankfully, the sources claimed Roker has improved after getting back in the hospital despite his worrying condition. His family has reportedly surrounded him.

With his current health status, the occasional "3rd Hour Today" host also missed the Rockefeller Christmas tree lighting, held Wednesday, October 30.

In a post on Instagram on November 18, Roker revealed he had received medical treatment for blood clots after being hospitalized for the first time earlier this month. He addressed the questions of his whereabouts in his caption on a photo of a bouquet of flowers.

He then said he was admitted to the hospital due to a blood clot in his leg, which led to some clots in his lungs. Thankfully, he had received terrific medical care after "some medical whack-a-mole" and was on his way to recovery.

Roker thanked his well-wishers and the prayers he had received, hoping to see everyone soon. Later, he shared another update, telling his fans he was discharged in time for the holiday.

He called "getting ready to leave the hospital" his version of the Thanksgiving Day Parade as he walked through the hospital corridors. Roker also expressed how grateful he was to go home for Thanksgiving Day.
