Rumors have it that BIGBANG's T.O.P will join the renowned Japanese billionaire/entrepreneur Yusaka Maezawa on a trip to space in 2023. Though the idol himself has yet to confirm the news, an exclusive media outlet claimed it would happen.

Allegedly, T.O.P will be one of the eight participants for the "#dearMoon" project, a mission led by Maezawa himself in collaboration with Elon Musk's SpaceX. It has been four years since Maezawa announced his plans to lead the first-ever civilian mission to the moon through his "#dearMoon" project, and it may finally come to fruition in 2023.

Maezawa revealed that his companions would be carefully selected based on their talents and influence, and they would be from around the world, not just in Asia. He saw that these select people could significantly contribute to the human race.

From there, he posted a photo on his social media page with T.O.P and Lee Byung Hun in September that quickly garnered the attention of many. In a tweet, he also teased that there would be a major announcement about his space plans on Thursday, December 8.

In his post, he revealed that his meeting with Musk was done, and he was about to make an announcement about space around noon on the said date. "It's another new announcement on the anniversary of exactly one year since the day I went to ISS last year," he continued.

Meanwhile, T.O.P recently treated his fans to his birthday celebrations in Seoul by sending cases of wine from his soon-to-be-launched drink label, T'spot. As a famous wine enthusiast, the rapper wanted his followers to have a taste of the wine produced at his vineyard in Argentina.

Though the batch of red wine he gave came from the Bordeaux region of France, he still managed to keep his promise to his fans. Alternatively, his followers also revealed that the message that came with the package mentioned that he would be seeing them soon with a "solo album."

Moreover, the BIGBANG member shared the event on his Instagram and said he was pleased to share the "sweet fruit of his labor over the past few years" with his fans, whom he called "Queens."

T.O.P chose to have a simple birthday celebration on November 4 due to the Itaewon tragedy that saw hundreds of young people dead. He also postponed the launch of his wine label, T'spot, this month as a sign of respect to the tragic event's victims and their bereaving loved ones.
