"My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 15 preview images are now out, hinting at how beaten down the Pro Heroes are this time. The snaps tease the next moves the villains will make, and it looks sinister.
"My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 15 will be aptly titled "Tartarus" as it begins the Tartarus Escapees arc or, a.k.a. the Vigilante arc. Though it remains to be seen as to what extent the new episode will adapt, the preview images suggest what will happen next.
The franchise drops eight preview images on its official website. Half of those features the Pro Heroes, showing how they're trying to recover from all the losses they have experienced during the Paranormal Liberation War, while the remaining see the villains making their next move.
Shoto Todoroki, Shota Aizawa, Katsuki Bakugo, and Izuku Midoriya are seen trying to cope after the war. Toshinori Yagi, formerly known as All Might, is also seen sitting beside Deku.
Shoto's body is bandaged, probably because of overusing his quirks in the war. Aizawa also has his right eye and the upper right half of his face wrapped in "My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 15 after being hit by Shigaraki's decay quirk.
In addition, Bakugo's lower body is also tied up due to the injuries he suffered in his torso. Deku's full body is cast after fully using One for All. He's also asleep, hinting at the possibility that he's comatose.
Alternatively, the villains are seemingly preparing for their next big move. All For One is back, smiling with a clear sky above him, implying that he's already free from Tartarus.
Shigaraki seems to remain under AFO's control, so the latter may have gotten the help of his allies from the outside to escape. Muscular appears in a residential area in "My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 15.
The final image shows prison guards with worried expressions, indicating that the villains are again wreaking havoc as the heroes are away.
Meanwhile, "My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 14, "Hellish Hell," saw Twice create a double of Re-Destro. The latter was invited to attend a Hero Public Safety Commission meeting, but it was only a ploy to trap and capture him.
The body double then killed several heroes. As the war occurred, the injured were rushed to the hospital. Some villains, like Mr.Compress, Dr. Garaki, the real Re-Destro, and several Paranormal Liberation Front members, were arrested.
However, other big bads, like Shigaraki and Dabi, escaped. AFO managed to control the Nomu while inside Shigaraki's body, ordering them to invade Tartarus and help him escape.
"My Hero Academia" Season 6 Episode 15 will be out on Saturday, January 14.
