Rita Ora finally broke her silence and addressed the throuple rumors surrounding her, her husband, Taika Waititi, and Tessa Thompson. Ever since the three's picture having fun together went viral, there have been questions about their relationship.

In an interview with British GQ, Ora reflected on the controversial snap and admitted she opted not to talk about it, believing the news would just eventually fade. So, were the rumors true?

The 32-year-old found the claims "absurd," and it was hard to "fathom any sense" of it, so she chose to ignore it. She continued that she had adopted this approach for a lot of things, as she didn't want to put energy toward something that wasn't existing.

The "Poison" hitmaker explained that addressing something that didn't happen seemed she was "feeding into nothing." She then revealed that the moment caught in the picture was booze-filled on a Sydney balcony.

She called it a drunk night when everyone became best friends. She even compared it to a moment when she would remember talking to someone in the smoking area for hours the next day, and she had no idea who it was.

"Literally - that [photo] was just a bunch of friends having a good time," Ora said. At the time, she continued that Waititi and Thompson had a crazy schedule, so everyone let loose-each to their own, which the singer-songwriter also loved.

But despite the talks, the "For You" singer found solace in her LGBTQIA+ followers, who praised her for normalizing same-sex PDA. Though they weren't sure if the photo was real, they were inspired that such a thing was being normalized publicly.

Alternatively, Waititi also responded to the talks surrounding their alleged throuple photo. He said, via BuzzFeed, that everything could go away pretty quickly in the world of the internet.

He also asked if what they did in the snap was a big deal. "I was doing nothing wrong. It's fine," he said.

Meanwhile, a source confirmed to People that Waititi and Ora tied the knot in a "very small ceremony" in August 2022 following the rumors and reports that they were already married. In some social media snapshots, the director was seen wearing what appeared to be a wedding ring.

The couple made their relationship public after being linked for the first time in April 2021. At the time, the "Your Song" singer posted a photo of them together, embracing.

In her caption, she called it good times, memories, random things on her phone and the one she loved. Waititi and Ora then made their red carpet debut as a pair at the premiere of "The Suicide Squad" in Los Angeles.
