Lee Sung Min graced the tvN talk show "You Quiz on the Block" Wednesday, January 25, and talked about what it was like filming "Reborn Rich" with Song Joong Ki. Amid the success of the series, dubbed one of the best K-dramas of 2022, what could the actor say about it?

Aside from working with Song Joong Ki, Lee Sung Min also discussed what it was like to play the chaebol Jin Yang Chul in "Reborn Rich." Here's what he had to say.

The host Yoo Jae Suk asked the 54-year-old if he thought the show would be a huge success, to which he said he didn't think anything about it. He was more worried about playing a character much older than him.

He then revealed that he had fun filming with Song Hye Kyo's ex-husband and talked about some of the many scenes that earned the most attention, like when the chaebol showed signs of delirium and the car accident with the "Vincenzo" star.

Yoo Jae Suk told Lee Sung Min that he heard he had dedicated himself to filming those controversial scenes and asked him if it weren't hard. The "Golden Time" admitted he was still filming another drama when he did the delirium scene, and he had just returned to the "Reborn Rich" set after doing the other show.

Despite that, he still found it fun to do "Reborn Rich." Alternatively, the car accident scene was filmed in the car park and was retouched using computer graphics.

He then revealed that at the time, he and Song Joong Ki just shook their bodies back and forth, and glass pieces were thrown at them.

Meanwhile, when "Reborn Rich" ended on December 25, its series finale achieved the highest viewership ratings of its entire run. Nielsen Korea revealed that the final episode scored an average nationwide rating of 26.9 percent, marking its personal best.

It also made a new record for the second-highest viewership ratings of any cable drama in Korean history, even besting JTBC's hit 2020 series, "The World of the Married," which had a national average rating of 28.4 percent.

"Reborn Rich" is classified as a fantasy period revenge drama and has become the most-watched K-drama of 2022. Song Joong Ki played the role of Yoon Hyun Woo, a hardworking and loyal secretary of the Jin family that owned the Soonyang Group business empire.

Despite his loyalty to the family and the company, he's famed for embezzlement and ordered to be killed. When he wakes up, he's already Jin Do Joon, the youngest member of the chaebol family.
