Despite their separation, Gisele Bündchen has shown her support to her estranged husband, Tom Brady's decision to retire from the NFL. This is the second time the footballer has stepped down from his post.

The legendary quarterback announced his retirement in a post on Instagram Wednesday, February 1. And though he unretired in March 2022 following his first retirement in February of the same year, he said it was "for good" this time. So, what did Bündchen say about it?

The supermodel left a comment on her ex's post, wishing her nothing but the best. "Wishing you only wonderful things in this new chapter of your life," she commented with a hand-praying emoji.

The Brazilian beauty's show of support doesn't come as a surprise. Page Six reported last year that the two broke into an "epic fight" after the Tampa Bay Buccaneers player decided to unretire from the NFL.

A source said their marriage got into trouble after Brady's return to the game, and Bündchen was always the one left with their two kids, Benjamin and Vivian. The insider added they both agreed he would officially retire to focus on their family, but he later changed his mind.

Sadly, they could no longer work out their differences, resulting in ending their 13-year marriage in October 2022 after filing and finalizing their divorce. They then released their respective statements to confirm the news and promised to co-parent their children.

But after everything that had happened, Brady officially announced his retirement following 23 seasons in the NFL. In a clip, he said he would get to the point immediately, revealing he was "retiring for good."

He knew the process was a "pretty big deal" the last time he made the announcement. So when he woke up that morning, he just wanted to record himself and let his fans know the news first.

"It won't be long-winded," Brady continued. He added that he just used his super-emotional retirement essay last year, knowing he only got one.

The seven-time Super Bowl champion thanked his family, friends, teammates, and competitors for their support during his career and for letting him live his "absolute dream." From there, Brady promised he wouldn't change a thing.

For context, Brady retired in February 2022 but returned for another season to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He's dubbed the greatest quarterback of all time, leading the New England Patriots to six Lombardi Trophies and the Bucs to one.
