"Dr. Stone" Season 3, officially titled "New World," will soon be out, seeing the return of the fan favorites Senku, Ryuusui, Chrome, and the rest of the gang. As a new story begins, here's everything you need to know about the upcoming installment.

"Dr. Stone" Season 3 will pick up where the one-hour special anime Dr. Stone: Ryuusui left off. After Ryuusui, Senku, and Chrome made it to the Ishigami village with their new invention of the hot air balloon, fans are about to witness another adventure from this group.

The three defied all odds with their teamwork, successfully creating a new milestone. Seeing new individuals in the village, the people in that era will surely be amazed by Ryuusui's arrival and hearing his story about his wealth and knowledge about sailing.

The new season will continue the Source of Petrification Saga and adapt the remaining ten chapters of the Age of Exploration Arc. It will also feature the Treasure Island Arc, which has 38 chapters.

In "Dr. Stone" Season 3, Senku and his team have discovered a new population. A new character will also be introduced with Francois, Ryuusui's faithful butler and chef.

Francois has incredible skills when it comes to hospitality. Ryuusui trusts this person so much that he wants the "best in the world" for his butler.

However, there are no words yet if Francois is male or female, how old, and even their real name is not yet known. This role is said to be played by Maaya Sakamoto, known as Ciel Phatomhive from Black Butler, Makoto Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell, and Shinra Kusakabe from Fire Force.

Music-wise, "Dr. Stone" Season 3's opening and ending theme songs are yet to be announced. But, it was earlier revealed that the renowned musical artist Huwei Ishizaki would provide the new season's theme songs.

The previous season ended with the Treasure Island arc, and the anime still has five storylines to adapt. These arcs will be divided into the Truth of the Petrification Saga and the Stone to Space Saga.

That said, the series may run for another two seasons after the third season. But seeing its current phase, it may take a few more years to fully adapt the Riichiro Inagaki and Boichi's brainchild.

"Dr. Stone" Season 3 will premiere on April 6 at 10:30 p.m. JST on different broadcasting stations in Japan, like Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, BS11, and TV Aichi and will be exclusively streamed on Crunchyroll.
