It's a treat for the ears.

Just two months after releasing his debut solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" in July, BTS's Jungkook has announced the release of his second solo single "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)", set to drop in just four days. The new track "3D" will be available on various online music platforms at 1 PM on September 29 (KST).

Jungkook shared the comeback news on the global fandom platform Weverse on the 24th. He also unveiled two 'Hero Film' teasers and the "1D" version of the concept photo, kickstarting the promotions for "3D".

In the "Hero Film", Jungkook showcased an overwhelming aura. The concept photos highlighted his versatility, using linear lighting in a minimalistic setting. Even without flashy props or accessories, Jungkook shone brightly, captivating fans worldwide with the charisma of a "global pop star".

With the news of Jungkook's comeback, both domestic and global music charts are on high alert. His debut solo "Seven" achieved remarkable feats, including topping the Billboard 'Hot 100' and ranking third on the UK's Official Chart. Moreover, 'Seven' was awarded the 'Song of Summer' at the '2023 MTV Video Music Awards (MTV VMA)', making him the first Korean solo artist to win in this category.

Despite being released two months ago, 'Seven' continues its long-run popularity, maintaining its position in the upper ranks of the Billboard 'Hot 100' for eight consecutive weeks. It also ranked first on the 'Global (excluding the US)' chart and second on the 'Global 200' chart for eight straight weeks. The only other Korean artist song to achieve eight consecutive weeks at number one on the 'Global (excluding the US)' chart is BTS's 'Dynamite'.

Given Jungkook's dominance on music charts with just one song, expectations for '3D' are soaring. '3D' is an R&B pop track that cleverly portrays feelings for an unreachable person through the concept of 1, 2, and 3-dimensional perspectives. Big Hit Music, his agency, explained that fans "can expect to see a more mature solo artist Jungkook following 'Seven'."

Jungkook didn't forget to tease fans with a spoiler for the new song. On the 24th, he made a historic appearance as the first Korean solo headliner at the '2023 Global Citizen Festival' held in New York's Central Park. He performed his solo tracks 'Euphoria' and 'Still With You', and even sang 'Seven' with a surprise appearance by Latto. Additionally, he premiered a short snippet of '3D' through a closing VCR, capturing the attention of fans with its trendy beat.

After the success of "Seven", Jungkook is poised to hit another home run with "3D". Fans eagerly await to see what new records he'll set and how he'll continue to reshape K-pop history.
