BTS member Jungkook is set to hit another global home run, this time in collaboration with American rapper Jack Harlow.

On September 29 at 1 pm (KST), Jungkook will release his new digital single '3D' across various music platforms. This comes two months after the release of his first official solo debut single 'Seven' on July 14th.

According to his agency, the new track '3D' is an R&B pop genre song that cleverly expresses feelings for an unreachable person through the perspectives of 1D, 2D, and 3D.

Another highlight of this release is the collaboration with a new artist. After previously working with Grammy-winning music producer and songwriter Andrew Watt and American rapper Latto on 'Seven', Jungkook has now teamed up with Jack Harlow for '3D'.

Big Hit Music, Jungkook's agency, commented on the new song, stating, "Jack Harlow has added a unique charm to the song with his distinctive rapping."

Born in 1998, Jack Harlow made his debut in 2015 with the EP 'The Handsome Harlow'. He later topped the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart with songs like 'First Class' and 'INDUSTRY BABY', a collaboration with Lil Nas X.

Jungkook, on the other hand, is a global pop star who has dominated the Billboard charts. With BTS, he first reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2020 with the English single 'Dynamite', which secured the No.1 spot three times. Following that, he achieved the top spot with 'Savage Love' remix (once), 'Life Goes On' (once), 'Butter' (ten times), 'Permission to Dance' (once), and the collaboration with British band Coldplay, 'My Universe' (once).

As a solo artist, he also conquered the Hot 100 peak. In July, with 'Seven', he achieved his 18th No.1 on the Hot 100. With both Jungkook and Jack Harlow having a history of topping the charts, all eyes are on whether this collaboration will produce Jungkook's 19th No.1 song on the Hot 100.

Amidst this, there's speculation among some K-pop fans that American TikTok star, singer, and actress Addison Rae might appear in the '3D' music video. This speculation arose after Addison Rae posted a picture of corn ice cream, known to be one of Jungkook's favorite snacks, on her personal social media with the caption "Jungkook knows best." However, the collaboration rumors with Addison Rae have been debunked.

Meanwhile, Jungkook's 'Seven' won the Song of Summer award at the '2023 MTV Video Music Awards' held at the Prudential Center in the U.S. on September 13th. This marked the first time a Korean solo artist has won in this category.

Following this, on September 24th, Jungkook performed as the first Korean solo headliner at the '2023 Global Citizen Festival' held in New York's Central Park.

Regarding this, the British daily newspaper, The Guardian, reported, "As the heavy rain began to subside, Jungkook dominated the stage with a charismatic and energetic setlist." They added, "Showcasing delicate choreography and smooth vocals, Jungkook presented the stage for his solo single 'Seven' alongside rapper Latto."
