BTS's RM directly addressed the dating rumors, candidly stating, "I don't have a girlfriend," capturing the attention of fans.

In the early hours of October 11, RM communicated with fans through the fan community platform Weverse Live.

During the broadcast, while sharing minor updates about his life, RM encountered a fan's comment asking him to introduce his girlfriend, hinting at the dating rumors. With a smile, RM responded, "I really wish I had one, but I don't right now." He then playfully asked, "Can anyone introduce me to one?" wrapping up the topic.

Last December, RM was engulfed in rumors of dating a 'silver spoon woman'. The basis for the rumors was RM's visit to an exhibition with the said woman and the consistent uploads of a dog, presumed to be the woman's pet, on his SNS. However, his agency, Big Hit Music, had clarified that the rumors were baseless.

Before RM, member Jungkook also recently addressed the topic of having a girlfriend. Rumors had surfaced suggesting Jungkook was dating, and he was asked about it during an online radio broadcast following the release of his single "3D."

He firmly denied the rumors, saying, "I keep seeing fans' posts about it, but I don't have a girlfriend. I'm not dating anyone." Jungkook further stated, "I can't feel the need (for dating) because I just want to work right now. Please stop talking about it since there's none."

He added, "Let's just say my girlfriend is ARMY (fandom name). Right now, I really only have ARMYs." After his statement, he added, "I feel relieved. I only have ARMYs, so don't worry."

Over the years, BTS members have directly denied various dating rumors, maintaining open communication with fans. Especially in cases like RM and Jungkook, where they directly addressed the rumors during live broadcasts with fans, it's rare, thus drawing more attention.

However, Big Hit Music remained silent last year regarding the dating rumors between V and BLACKPINK's Jennie. At the time, an online post claimed to have spotted V and Jennie in Jeju Island, accompanied by a photo of a man and woman, presumed to be the two, in a car. Neither Big Hit Music nor Jennie's agency, YG Entertainment, released any official statements.
