BTS's Jungkook has shown that his song "Seven" is indeed a 'Global Mega Hit' on Spotify. Released on July 14, Jungkook's debut solo single 'Seven' continues to be on a spectacular run as it secures the #1 spot on Spotify's 'Daily Top Global Songs' chart for 65 consecutive days as of October 21.

This accomplishment marks the longest duration an Asian artist has ever maintained the top spot.

"Seven" also proudly showcased its overwhelming global popularity and streaming power by entering the "Daily Top Global Songs" chart for 100 days straight after its release.

Despite being an English track, "Seven" became the first and only song in Spotify's "Daily Top Songs Korea" chart's history to maintain the No. 1 position for 100 consecutive days.

On October 20, Jungkook's dominance was further demonstrated as not only did "Seven" secure the No. 1 spot on the "Daily Top Global Songs" chart, but his second solo single "3D" ranked 9th and his collaboration "TOO MUCH" with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee ranked 10th. Jungkook has now become the first K-pop solo artist to have three songs simultaneously in the top 10 of this chart.

Furthermore, "Seven" reclaimed its No. 1 position on Spotify's "Weekly Top Global Songs" chart, marking its ninth time at the summit. In 2023, it set a record for the longest-running entry by a male artist globally. Additionally, "Seven" set another record by surpassing 900 million streams in just 92 days, the fastest in Spotify's history.

On October 6, with only seven songs on his personal Spotify profile, Jungkook achieved a cumulative 2.5 billion streams, setting the fastest record for a K-pop solo artist.

Previously, Jungkook set three significant global records on Spotify with songs "Dreamers", "Left and Right", and "Stay Alive" by achieving 1 billion streams in the shortest duration. "Seven" also set a record for the most streams in a week and fastest 100 million streams, earning him official recognition in the Guinness World Records.

Apart from Spotify, "Seven" debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's main singles chart 'Hot 100' and recorded nine consecutive weeks at  No. 1 on the "Global Excl. US" chart and seven weeks on the "Global 200" chart.

In other news, Jungkook is set to release his first official solo album, "GOLDEN", inspired by his "golden moments", on November 3 at 1 PM (KST).
