BTS member Jungkook continues to flaunt unwavering popularity on various international charts.
On October 27 (KST), the world's largest streaming service, Spotify, revealed its latest (as of October 26) "Weekly Top Song Global" chart. In it, BTS's Jungkook's solo single "Seven (feat. Latto)" secured its place at the third position for a whopping 15 consecutive weeks. Since its debut on the chart at number one, "Seven" has consistently maintained its position in the top ranks without any significant drop.
Furthermore, "Seven" reclaimed its number one position on the 'Daily Top Song Global' chart. Upon its release on July 14, it set a new record for the highest streaming numbers for a K-pop solo artist's track. "Seven" has remained in the top ranks for an impressive 105 days.
Another single by Jungkook, "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)", has been on the 'Weekly Top Song Global' chart in the 10th position for four consecutive weeks. In addition, his collaborative song "TOO MUCH" with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee entered at 14th position. With this, Jungkook showcased his dominance by having three songs on the chart, reinforcing his stature as a "global pop star."
Notably, "TOO MUCH" also debuted at the 10th spot on the recently announced UK Official Singles Chart. Jungkook has succeeded in having three consecutive songs - "Seven" (3rd), "3D" (5th), and "TOO MUCH" - enter the UK Official Singles Chart's "Top 10." The Official Charts Company stated, "Jungkook is the only Korean solo artist in chart history to have three singles in the 'Top 10'."
Jungkook is set to release his first solo album "GOLDEN" globally at 1 p.m. on the 3rd of next month. With a title track "Standing Next to You", this album will include the explicit and clean versions of "Seven", "3D", and a total of 11 songs. The album is themed around the 'golden moments' of solo artist Jungkook.
