BIGBANG's G-Dragon is taking a hardline approach in response to recent drug allegations.

On October 25th, G-Dragon was brought in without detention on charges of violating the drug control law. Subsequently, he clarified, "I did not take drugs," and expressed his intention to fully cooperate with the police investigation, including undergoing hair and urine tests. He also hired a lawyer formerly from the Constitutional Court for 2 billion won, and strongly responded to false rumors and defamation. He also voluntarily declared that he would appear for questioning on the 6th.

Public opinion has shifted significantly in light of G-Dragon's unwavering stance. Given his history of being charged with marijuana smoking in 2011 and receiving a suspended sentence, the initial skepticism from the public has greatly softened.

Amid this, a post titled "Found the original video of G-Dragon's neck twisting" began circulating on online communities on October 31st.

When G-Dragon's drug allegations surfaced, online videos spread rapidly, showing him seemingly unable to stand still or walk properly, supposedly portraying symptoms of a "tweaker," suggesting he was under the influence of drugs causing an excess dopamine release. Rumors even spread that fans had been aware of this for months.

However, the original video showed G-Dragon walking naturally. Fans argued that the "neck twisting" was a stretching habit G-Dragon has had for a long time and that the so-called "drug video" was maliciously edited.

Amid these developments, it was revealed that G-Dragon's team sent a warning to a YouTuber who created a video related to the drug allegations.

YouTuber 'A' mentioned, "G-Dragon's lawyer sent me emails three times. After receiving the warning stating that they would take a strong stance against baseless speculative reports, I was extremely upset. Is this a threat? A K-pop artist being embroiled in such rumors itself is evidence of a lack of self-control. G-Dragon says he didn't take drugs, but the police announced they have definitive evidence. One of the two is lying."

Yet, many who have worked closely with G-Dragon, including his stylist of over 10 years, his bodyguards, and the PIMA ONE director, continue to support him. The court also rejected a request for G-Dragon's communication records, stating, "There is insufficient evidence to prove criminal activity," which has caused public opinion to lean heavily in G-Dragon's favor.
