BTS sensation, Jimin, has once again captured the hearts of millions, solidifying his reign in the K-Pop kingdom for the second consecutive year. The popular King Choice polling platform named him "The King of K-pop 2023," echoing his victory in the previous year.

Jimin, the charismatic 28-year-old singer, amassed a whopping 908,343 votes, accounting for nearly 40% of the total 2.3 million votes. This placed him well ahead of the pack, leading his BTS co-member RM, the second-place holder, by an impressive margin of over 550,000 votes.

RM's commendable second-place finish, with votes surpassing 350,000, emphasized BTS's monumental influence in the music industry. Following closely, V, another BTS stalwart, claimed the third spot, garnering over 277,000 votes.

While BTS members continued to dominate the top rankings, other prominent K-Pop icons made their presence felt. TVXQ's Yunho claimed fourth place with 206,000 votes, while the top five was completed by Kang Daniel, who secured 103,000 votes. The BTS presence was further reinforced with Jungkook and J-Hope clinching the sixth and eighth spots, respectively.

The remainder of the top 10 featured a blend of seasoned and emerging K-Pop talent. TVXQ's Changmin, ASTRO's Cha Eunwoo, and Super Junior's Eunhyuk completed the top ten lineup, asserting their undeniable influence and fan base.

What's noteworthy is that all seven BTS members graced the top 12 of this illustrious list. Jin and Suga were close behind, bagging the 11th and 12th positions. Their rankings further emphasized the global reach and unwavering fan support for the group.

Reflecting on last year's King Choice poll, Jimin's top placement isn't a new feat. Out of 4.5 million votes, the lead vocalist and main dancer of BTS led the chart with a staggering 1.79 million votes. The preceding year witnessed Jungkook and Jin as the second and third titleholders.

The announcement of the poll results was perfectly timed, as fans, known globally as the ARMY, had just celebrated the release of Jimin's documentary, "Jimin's Production Diary." Premiered on Weverse on October 23, the film offered an intimate glance into the singer's solo album creation journey. It served as a testament to Jimin's dedication, showcasing his raw emotions and thoughts throughout the album's evolution.

As the K-Pop world buzzes with these latest rankings, the question remains: who will be the reigning king next year?
