A source says that Jennifer Lopez has been trying to persuade husband Ben Affleck to have a baby via surrogate — and claims that she "finally got him to cave in."

After the duo's early-aughts shot at romance ended with a broken engagement, Ben, 51, and Jennifer, 54, went on to have a total of five children--with exes Jennifer Garner and Marc Anthony, respectively.

Following their divorces and subsequent long-term relationships, the couple renewed their romance in 2021 and married the next year in Georgia, which Jennifer characterized as a "divinely full-circle" experience.

An tipster told Life & Style Jennifer has become passionate about gaining another second chance: having a baby with Ben.

“She nagged him until he went along with it. Ben was completely happy with the blended family they already have — but he loves kids, that’s why he agreed to having another. At the end of the day, he wants Jennifer to be happy,” the insider added.

It is claimed that Jennifer and Ben are still in the planning stages, however.

“Jennifer is obsessing over every detail — she intends to interview surrogate candidates herself and see where they live and be at every doctor’s appointment. She talks about it nonstop. Ben figures it’s easier to go along with her, but he’s realizing what he’s gotten himself into. It’s just going to get more hectic!” the informant told the entertainment news outlet.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez is not scared to get back up and dust herself off after a few career setbacks, according to an exclusive interview in the latest edition of Us Weekly.

“Jennifer’s very focused on her latest project and doesn’t want bad press to get in her head,” the informant says, referring to Jennifer’s recent rough patch involving her “This Is Me … Now” Tour and record of the same name.

According to the insider, Jennifer has faced "plenty of problems like this before and has gotten over them," adding, "She moves on when things like this happen."

Jennifer recently canceled some dates for her “This Is Me … Now” Tour due to low ticket sales. The stops were scheduled to be in Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, and New Orleans from August 22 to August 30.

The performer provided no explanation at the time, and according to Ticketmaster, dates in the southern United States were not rescheduled.

Days later, Jennifer released an amended tour schedule with a new set of dates. The events will begin in Orlando in June and end in August with two New York City performances. None of the canceled shows appear on the schedule.

Jennifer’s February album, “This Is Me … Now,” did not meet the singer's expectations in terms of chart performance. The record opened at No. 38 on the Billboard 200, the lowest ranking of any of the songstress’ albums. Her new album, “This Is Me … Now,” is her ninth studio album and follows her 2002 album, “This Is Me … Then.”

While a second source tells Us Weekly that Jennifer is "disappointed" by the low reception to her tour and album, a third insider says she won't let it hamper her future endeavors.

“Jennifer is extremely proud of all the hard work she puts into her projects, and Ben [Affleck] has been a huge support through it all,” the third source claimed.

Jennifer and Ben are currently house hunting for a fresh New York City pad, sources tell the entertainment news outlet. Plus, the “Papi” hitmaker has decided to focus on her next movie, “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” which she’s already filming in New Jersey.

“She really doesn’t care what others think,” the third insider says of Jennifer’s reaction to her recent criticism, adding thatBen, whom she married in 2022, has been keeping "Jen grounded" through all of the highs and lows.

Jennifer, meanwhile, has reportedly already moved on to the next great thing. "She's looking for a fresh start," a spy told Us Weekly.
