Police are investigating Kanye West as a suspect in a battery case after he allegedly punched a man in the face, according to a new report. The rapper allegedly became aggressive after a man "assaulted" his wife, Bianca Censori, on April 16.
The couple reportedly fled the area following the alleged incident. According to TMZ, authorities intend to question Kanye and other witnesses as part of their investigation.
“‘Grabbed’ is grossly inadequate as a description of what happened [to Bianca],” a rep for Kanye, 46, claimed in a statement to TMZ. “Bianca was physically assaulted. The assailant didn’t merely collide into her. He put his hands under her dress, directly on her body. He grabbed her waist, he spun her around and then he blew her kisses. She was battered and sexually assaulted.”
Kanye married Bianca, 29, in December 2022, after his divorce from Kim Kardashian. The duo is frequently photographed together, with Bianca donning quirky or provocative clothing. Kanye has been accused of "controlling" his wife, a charge he denied when a reporter questioned him earlier this year.
“Are you crazy?” he responded to the female journalist, while also grabbing her phone from her hands. “You think because you’re a white woman you can walk up on me like that and ask me some dumbass s–t like that? Asking me about my wife, if she has free will? Are you crazy?”
He also responded to social media commentators who criticized him for uploading exposing images of Bianca on his Instagram profile, according to In Touch Weekly.
“I delivered the album and people still in my comments talking about, ‘Why you posting your wife?’” he said in a February video. “Cause she makes me happy. That’s why y’all happy with the music. Because I’m happy. You understand? So don’t never say nothing negative. If you don’t like my page and don’t like what I’m posting, go f–k yourself.”
The architectural designer has spent time with Kanye's four children and even bonded with Kim, 43, at a listening party for the musician's album "Vultures 2" in March. In a video, the ladies were seen speaking while standing next to each other in the event's VIP section.
Despite her strong front, Kim has revealed that she has struggled to co-parent with her ex. “I definitely protected him and I still will in the eyes of my kids and for my kids,” she confirmed in a 2022 interview. “In my home, my kids don’t know anything that goes on in the outside world.”

Earlier this month, Bianca wore a skintight silver bodysuit instead of her normal NSFW revealing outfits while spending Easter Sunday with her husband Kanye and his four children, whom he shares with his former wife Kim.
The former architect wore a futuristic long-sleeved gown that she teamed with stiletto white heels, covering her entire body. Although Bianca, 29, seemed to be braless underneath the bodysuit, it was not see-through like many of her other costumes.
The shiny satin spandex full-body unitard was a steal, considering the Leohex suit costs $60 on Amazon and is available in a variety of hues including pink, green, and purple.
Kanye, 46, and Bianca accompanied their kids (North, 10, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 4) to Nobu Malibu for Easter supper, followed by a movie night at the theater.
Earlier in the day, Kim, 43, and the kids ate Easter lunch with other members of her family at her mother Kris Jenner's Hidden Hills, California, estate. Chicago was seen wearing the same lavender minidress with feathery sleeves and a hem, as well as purple cowboy boots, to celebrate with both of her parents.
Bianca has become well-known for her sheer outfits, which leave little to the imagination when she goes out with Kanye to dinners in Los Angeles and fashion shows in Europe. When his children are there, she wears more family-friendly clothing.
The Australian native has formed bonds with Kanye and Kim's children. Bianca wore a white catsuit on a trip to Disneyland in December 2023, where she was caught holding hands with North as they walked through the park.
In February 2024, North attended Paris Fashion Week alongside Kanye and Bianca. The two held hands again on their way to dinner, and they stayed close while they watched Kanye and Ty Dolla $ign at their Vultures 1 listening party. Bianca and North were seen speaking and laughing while swaying to the music in a TikTok video taken by another eventgoer.
“The kids being comfortable around Bianca speaks volumes,” one person wrote in the video’s comments, while another added, “Bianca seems sweet actually. She seems to care for the kids a lot,” referring to Kanye’s children.
Kanye and Bianca got married in December 2022, one month after his divorce from Kim was finalized. The two women were seen together for the first time in public on March 12, when they attended the rapper's Vultures 2 listening party at San Francisco's Chase Center.
In an Instagram Story video released by DJ Pharris, Kim and Bianca were seen standing alongside Saint, Chicago, and Psalm. They appeared friendly.
