Travis Kelce may give the impression of being the most laid-back person on the planet, but he is actually harboring a secret jealousy that is being put to the test by Taylor Swift's hot backup dancers, a new report claimed. This is allegedly true when she is having some flirtatious fun on the rare times when he is not around.
“He trusts Taylor but that doesn’t mean he’s fine seeing her surrounded by all these hot guys. He’s a very macho, Alpha-male guy, his ego gets triggered pretty easily, and even if these guys don’t stand a chance with her he still has major pangs of jealousy, especially when he sees her getting showered with attention by them,” an unnamed source told Life & Style.
“He comes from the old-school mentality where other men are automatically competition so of course this gets under his skin, even if they do work for her. You can bet he’ll be pushing for her to hire nothing but female dancers for her next tour,” the insider went on.
Due to the fact that they made their relationship public in September 2023, Taylor and Travis, who are both 34 years old, have been really hot and heavy. Following the big shout-out that the Kansas City Chiefs star made to the singer of "Karma" on his podcast titled "New Heights" in July of 2023, the two individuals discreetly met with one another and started dating.
“We started hanging out right after that. So we actually had a significant amount of time that no one knew, which I’m grateful for, because we got to get to know each other. By the time I went to that first game, we were a couple. I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date,” Taylor told TIME during her Person of the Year interview that December.
Both Travis and Taylor have been able to prioritize their relationship and make time for each other despite the fact that their schedules are extremely busy. This includes the fact that Travis' team won the Super Bowl and Taylor is now on tour with Eras internationally.
When the musician known for her song "I Can Do It With a Broken Heart" arrived to Paris in May to begin the European leg of her tour, Travis was seen in the audience singing along and dancing to his girlfriend's performance. He was accompanied by his friends Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, and Ross Travis. Following their time in Paris, Taylor and Travis took a break from their tour and traveled to Lake Como, which is located in Italy.
After some time had passed, the NFL champion spoke on his time spent in Europe, telling his brother Jason Kelce, “It was fun. It was a blast.”
“I had a blast at Tay’s show. Her new rendition of the Eras tour, I suggest everybody go see it. It has her new Tortured Poets Department [set]. A handful of those songs [are] in the new show, which means there’s a new segment and new lights and new dancing, new everything to the f–king show. I suggest everybody get out there and see [it]. It is absolutely unbelievable,” he went on.
Travis Kelce has yet to comment on the claims that he is jealous of Taylor Swift’s male back-up dancers. So, avid followers of the couple should take all these unverified reports with a pinch of salt until everything is proven true and correct.
