On the day that she turned 18 years old, May 27, Shiloh Pitt, the daughter of Brad Pitt, made her sentiments for her famous father painfully obvious by filing a petition in court to have his last name erased.
Vivienne, Brad's other daughter, which is 15 years old, declined to use his name in the Playbill for the new Broadway production, "The Outsiders," which she co-produced, InStyle reported. This dramatic action happened just a few weeks after it was known that she had made this decision.
When they were attending a sorority initiation event at Spelman College in November of last year, their older sister Zahara, who was 19 at the time, introduced herself as Zahara Marley Joli, as per Page Six.
It would appear that the writing is on the wall with regard to Brad's relationship with the six children that he shares with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, who is 49 years old. In addition to being parents to Maddox, who is 22 years old, Pax, who is 20 years old, and Knox, who is Vivienne's twin brother, the furious estranged spouses continue to be embroiled in court fights around their French winery, Chateau Miraval, nearly seven years after their divorce.
“It’s a classic case of parental alienation,” an unnamed source told In Touch Magazine. It added that Brad plans to start a family with his ladylove of more than a year, Ines de Ramon.
“Brad wants another chance at fatherhood. He’s a different person than the first time around," the insider claimed.
When Brad learned, at the same time as the rest of the world, that his first biological kid had chosen to remove the hyphenated "Pitt" from her surname, he was taken aback and completely unprepared for something like this.
“Given the cold climate between him and Shiloh’s mother, he suspects Angelina had a hand in this,” the informant stated of Brad's doubts that the teen hired a lawyer of her own volition. “The days after Shiloh’s birth in Namibia were some of the happiest days in Brad’s life. He’s deeply hurt and is also troubled that Vivienne and Zahara stopped using his name. It’s clear Angelina is twisting the knife," it went on.
All of Brad's efforts to make amends have been unsuccessful up to this point. “He’s tried to rebuild relationships with all his children, and will continue to try. He hopes things will change over time when the kids are not so heavily influenced by Angelina," the tipster shared.
Ines gives a second opportunity. Since the latter's separation with "Vampire Diaries" actor Paul Wesley in September 2022, Brad and Ines have been discreetly cultivating their relationship.
“Ines is a breath of fresh air for Brad. With her, there’s no drama," the mole shared.
Unlike Angelina, Ines is not into the show business. “She works with a lot of celebrities in her jewelry business but isn’t a celeb herself. And she doesn’t want to be," the spy stated.
According to a snitch, Brad is now prepared to have a fresh start, and the two have even discussed the possibility of getting married in Europe during the summer. “They’re not going to waste time with a long engagement,” the naysayer claimed, adding that George Clooney, Brad's close friend and co-star in the upcoming movie "Wolfs", has generously offered to participate in the celebrations by providing his Lake Como vacation home.
“There’s a bit of urgency with this. because Brad is very eager to have a child with Ines and she wants a proper commitment first. As soon as they tie the knot, the first priority will be having a baby," the insider went on.
While it is not impossible for the lovebirds to consider tying the knot, it should be noted that Brad Pitt has yet to comment on the reports that he wants to be a father again after a number of his children dropped his last name. So, avid followers of the pair should take all these unverified claims until everything is proven true and correct.
