There are many who argue that Prince Harry is "permanently banned" from senior royal life as a result of "spilling royal secrets." This is the reason why Meghan Markle’s husband is no longer considered a working member of the British royal family.
In spite of this, a former royal butler believes that there is one thing that the scandal-plagued Duke of Sussex may do in order to attempt to re-enter the gates of the Palace.
"The only way I see this happening is a public statement from Harry, where you come out and say that you were in a bad space and that [Spare] was a mistake. I don’t think that’s going to happen. Some bad things were said, and some families never patch things up, and that’s how it is forevermore,” Grant Harrold, King Charles III's ex-butler, stated, as per The New York Post.
"[Prince] Harry has got a big heart, and a part of him probably wishes things would be different,” it went on.
When it comes to the House of Windsor, it is strictly banned to provide information on royal life in exchange for monetary compensation. This includes the disclosure of information from staff members as well as members of the monarchy itself. Marion Crawford, who served as a governess to Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret in the 1940s, is a well-known example of this.
She wrote a picture book about her former charges that was described as "loving and G-rated" after she retired in 1949. This led to her being completely and completely cut off from all lines of royal life and communication for the rest of her life at that point.
In addition, Prince Edward and Wallis Simpson were excluded from the royal family after the former abdicated his throne in order to marry Wallis Simpson. However, King George VI and Queen Elizabeth II were responsible for paying for the extravagant exile that the couple lived in Paris, France.
On the other hand, analysts and those with knowledge of the situation agree that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are "an entirely different phenomenon." Their leverage as their own success story, despite the fact that, according to one palace insider, it is only "their monetized usage of the royal coat of arms," distinguishes them from previous royal missteps in a significant way.
New projects for Netflix, the launch of the Meghan's brand, film premieres, countless visits, and a "faux royal tour" are just some of the things that have kept the duo busy for the first few months of the year. It has been reported that British royal courtiers regard the constant output of the couple to be chaotic, despite the fact that the Sussexes have a very hectic schedule.
"Buckingham Palace would prefer that Harry and Meghan retire into quiet obscurity, but that is not going to happen. They are private citizens, so they cannot be banned from going or not going anywhere,” royal editor Tom Sykes stated, as per Express UK.
"The idea of Harry and Meghan going on a world tour, to Australia or anywhere else, is the stuff of nightmares for Buckingham Palace because it effectively sets up a rival royal court," he went on.
