Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are attempting to earn the respect of the general public through the various accolades and recognitions that they have received, a new report claimed.
Kinsey Schofield, who is a correspondent for the entertainment industry and the host of the royal podcast "To Di For Daily," had a conversation with Mike Graham on TalkTV recently. They discussed the contentious Pat Tillman Award that Prince Harry received, as well as the petition that urged ESPN to reconsider its decision to bestow the honor to the Duke of Sussex. Following the petition, several people voiced their worries about the award, including Mary Tillman, who is the mother of Tillman.
"I completely agree with that individual. I honestly see Prince Harry and Meghan Markle accepting more trophies for awards that I don't understand what they're for than this life of service that they promised us. You know how many awards did Meghan accept for a podcast that was canceled and slammed by her own network," Kinsey stated.
"This is all a game for them. I guess they're trying to buy the public's respect, they're trying to buy a good PR through, you know, networking and creating these opportunities to collect trophies for their mantle. But I think the public sees through these individuals,” she went on.
Kinsey concurred with Mike's assertion that the Sussexes are no longer recognized as A-list celebrities. She also related a story about Meghan supposedly attempting to get in touch with her former co-stars from the television show "Suits," and she referred to this endeavor as "desperate."
"I don't believe so. And you're even seeing reports over the last few days that Meghan is going to have to resort to asking her 'Suits' castmates to appear on her new Lemonada podcast, talk about a fall from grace. Meghan Markle didn't give these people her new phone number when she ran off with Prince Harry, so to have to call some of them and say, 'Would you mind appearing on my podcast,' that's an act of desperation,” the royal expert went on.
According to Pat's mother, she was taken aback when she found out that Prince Harry was the recipient of the Pat Tillman Award for this year. Mary is of the opinion that there are "recipients that are far more fitting" than Prince Harry, whom she thinks to be "controversial and divisive."
An individual named Nile Gardiner, who is both the director of The Heritage Foundation and a royal analyst, discussed the significant amount of criticism that Prince Harry received following the announcement of his most recent award. Gardiner reported that the response from the general population demonstrated that he and Markle were no longer popular.
"Harry and Meghan, I would say, [are] increasingly unpopular in the United States. In fact, I describe [them] as two of the most unpopular figures in the US today actually," Nile stated.
