The White House concealed Joe Biden's deteriorating mental and physical condition, a BBC presenter claimed.
Justin Webb, the host of BBC Radio 4's “Today” show and the “Americast podcast,” unequivocally stated that the Democrats have been dishonest over the American president's health, The Telegraph reported.
Biden, who is 81 years old, has exhibited a growing tendency to make mistakes and has shown visible signs of physical weakness in recent years. This has raised concerns about his capacity to fulfill the role of president for another term.
However, the White House asserted that he was capable of doing his duties and dismissed any exaggerated fears regarding his health. On Sunday, Biden withdrew from the presidential election campaign.
“What was going on behind the scenes was a cover-up, and there’s no question at all about it. They knew that he was in decline, and other people who monitored the White House knew that he was in decline, but all of them decided not to tell the American people,” Justin said in a recent episode of “Today.”
“And the problem for Kamala Harris is, of course, she was there when all of this was going on, and already the Trump campaign are labelling her, trying to put her into the position of being one of the enablers of Joe Biden and one of the enablers of the myth that he was capable of carrying on,” the BBC presenter went on.
Biden's decline was precipitated by a calamitous debate display against Donald Trump on June 27, during which he experienced a mental block and lost his coherence on live television.

The physician further stated that Biden's pulse, blood pressure, respiration rate, and temperature are within the normal range. Additionally, his oxygen saturation is reported to be great, and his lungs continue to be clear.
Biden contracted COVID-19 during his campaign in Las Vegas on Wednesday. He has been self-isolating at his residence in Rehoboth, Delaware, since then.
Dr. Kevin reaffirmed on Monday that Biden is actively fulfilling all of his presidential responsibilities while in Rehoboth, and he will promptly inform the White House of any updates regarding the president’s condition.

Harris hosted a ceremony at the White House on Monday to honor the NCAA championship teams from the previous season. Biden was unable to attend because to his COVID-19 illness.
Biden is anticipated to have a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu this week, although the White House has not disclosed any intentions for him to travel back to Washington.
