As a result of the recent leak of Billy Ray Cyrus' foul-mouthed rants, in which he attacks his daughter as well as his ex-wives Firerose and Tish Cyrus, Miley Cyrus is picking herself up off the floor. A new report claimed that the family is currently engaged in crisis talks regarding how to handle the most humiliating situation they have ever encountered.
“It goes without saying that Miley is disgusted and shocked that her father would go as far to call her and her mother those kinds of names. It’s just beyond belief and she’s lost all respect for him,” an unnamed source told Life & Style Magazine, referring to the shocking audio that came to light in July.
Billy Ray called Firerose, who is 36 years old, "a selfish f–king bitch" and Tish, who is 57 years old, a "whore" and a "cheater" in the texts. "Everyone knows that devil's a skank," he stated in reference to Miley, who is 31 years old and is known for her song "Flowers." "I was at my wits' end," Billy Ray confessed when he took to Instagram to confront the tape that had been leaked, Entertainment Daily reported.
“It really validates the decision [Miley] made long ago to take her mother’s side because they’ve seen a lot of his rage and nasty behavior over the years,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet.
Following Billy Ray's divorce from Tish in 2022 and subsequent marriage to Firerose, Miley's relationship with her father appeared to become strained and tense. For the wedding of her mother to actor Dominic Purcell, which took place in August 2023, Miley acted as the maid of honor. However, she was not present for the wedding of Billy Ray and Firerose, which took place two months later.
In addition, the singer of "Party in the USA" made a public display of disdain for her father when she accepted her first Grammy Award in February. She did not mention him at any point in her speech.
“At the end of the day, he’s still her dad,” the informant shared, pointing out that Miley doesn’t want to let Firerose “ruin their whole family and divide and conquer them, so to speak.”
“They’re trying their best not to react too much and trying to let it wash over them, but at the same time they’re very embarrassed. The whole situation has been beyond humiliating,” the tipster went on.
Billy Ray is the father of four children who are now adults: Brandi Cyrus, who is 37 years old; Trace Cyrus, who is 35 years old; Braison Cyrus, who is 30 years old; and Noah Cyrus, who is 24 years old. When he first met Tish, he was dating Kristin Luckey and the two of them have a son named Christopher Cody, who is 32 years old.
“The really sad thing is that Firerose has already managed to divide the family. Braison and Noah took their dad’s side and got very close to her, and it’s put a huge strain on the rest of them. They’re all barely speaking,” the mole revealed.
“[And even though Billy Ray’s divorce from Firerose was finalized on Monday, August 5], it hasn’t really helped heal anything between them all. There’s still so much anger and ugliness that’s gone on, and Noah and Braison are still taking Billy Ray’s side, so it’s left them all in this awful feud that seems to have no end in sight,” it added.
“[Because Miley is a very proud person], she hates that everyone’s talking about her and her family like this and is just praying it will pass as soon as possible,” the spy stated.
Still, the family is worried about what will happen next. “The fear of course is that Firerose has even more ammunition that she’s going to drop. If her dad has said these sort of things so casually, there’s no telling what else he’s said in one of his angry rants; it’s pretty terrifying. He’s clearly been very loose-lipped and disloyal, so the question is: What other family secrets has he spilled?” the tattler shared.
