From the very beginning of her relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan Markle allegedly gave off signs that she was "dominant" in their relationship, a royal expert claimed.
During the interview that Meghan gave to BBC journalist Mishal Husain about her engagement, there should have been telltale indicators that she was "insincere" because of the responses that she gave, according to royal expert Richard Eden. In addition, the journalist and author asserted that Meghan was observed leaning across her fiance at various points throughout the conversation, describing this behavior as a blatant demonstration of her dominance.
Additionally, Richard brought to light inconsistencies in Meghan's responses to a few of the topics that were asked throughout the interview. She stated in the conversation that she had met Prince Harry on a "blind date" in 2017, and Prince Harry responded by saying, "It was a blind date, for sure."
Both Meghan and Prince Harry have provided narratives that are in direct opposition to one another regarding how they first met. On the other hand, Prince Harry explained how he and Meghan first became acquainted with one another over social media in their Netflix series, telling the audience that "Meghan and I met over Instagram."
Meghan also told Mishal a mutual friend had helped to organize the “blind date.” "Because I'm from the States, you don't grow up with the same understanding of the Royal Family. I didn't know much about him and so the only thing that I had asked her when she said she wanted to set us up was — I had one question. I said, 'Well, is he nice?'" the “Suits” alum added.
On the other hand, Richard pointed out in an article that he wrote for The Daily Mail that Meghan had in fact been caught posing outside Buckingham Palace when she was a teenager when she was in London with her friend Ninaki Priddy.
Priddy was reportedly asked what she thought about Meghan being married to Prince Harry, and her response caused eyebrows to be raised when she stated that she believed the actress had been "planning" the occasion her entire life. “I'm not shocked at all. It's like she has been planning this all her life,” she stated.
The report came after Judi James, an expert in body language, stated to The Mirror that Prince Harry and Meghan both use different body gestures and words in their most recent joint interview. James believes that this is a shift from their past sit-down conversations.
"Their synchronicity and their togetherness signals as a power couple suggest some growing maturity as they sit further apart than normal to perhaps promote themselves as individuals united by the cause as well as by their marriage, and by the way their pace and tone of both speech and movement is so contrasting rather than blending them into one professional unit as they used to do years ago,” Judi explained.
"Meghan’s signals during this clip suggest she’s taking the lead here, using a blend of celebrity charm and concern to create a relationship with their interviewer, making careful segues between their home life and their campaign. She has her arm out as though possibly breaching the gap between herself and Harry by placing her hand on his thigh although the picture cuts before we can see where the hand actually lands,” the body language expert added.
"Her engagement with the interviewer is as powerful as Harry’s disengagement signals at the start of this clip while the two women speak. We see him in the clip gazing off into the distance with a serious facial expression while his wife tells a much more sociable and emotional story,” Judi went on.
