“Batman” star Ben Affleck is so frustrated by his crumbled marriage to Jennifer Lopez that he’s vowing to give up on love and sex for a couple of years in a desperate bid to figure out why his relationship don’t work, a new report claimed.
The former husband of Jennifer Garner reportedly believes he was blinded by lust for the “On the Floor” hitmaker and stumbled into an ill-matched union.
“Ben was put through the ringer by Jennifer and he’s trying to just find himself again. They had very little sex toward the end, and Ben’s not looking for any dolly bird hookups now. In fact, he seems to have lost his mojo. People blame Jennifer, saying she emasculated him and did a real number on his confidence,” an unnamed source told Globe Magazine.
Most, if not all, fans are aware that Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez divorce rumors have been hounding the Hollywood couple’s marriage since January, with the “Gone Girl” actor moving into a $100,000-a-month rental apartment.
Ben and Jennifer spent their second anniversary on opposite coasts in July. For the “Let’s Get Loud” songstress’ 55th birthday, she threw herself an over-the-top Bridgerton-themed party, while her husband puttered around Los Angeles.
“He still looks miserable while she’s charging around reinventing herself. It’s surprising to friends, but Ben has no desire to sow any wild oats. He’s focusing on his kids and career and staying away from any activities that couple land him another relationship,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet.
Meanwhile, according to a recent article by PEOPLE Magazine, Jennifer and Ben are contemplating their future plans as the summer comes to an end.
The actress, now 55, has not had any contact with Ben for several weeks. Reportedly, she has been frequently visiting New York City and the Hamptons, where she organized a significant birthday celebration with her friends and family, excluding Ben, who is 51 years old.
The actor known for his role in "Daredevil" has primarily been residing in Los Angeles, while Jennifer recently returned to Los Angeles. "They’re moving on separately. Jennifer is trying to find a new home to start fresh," the informant added.
Indications of the deteriorating state of their marriage were apparent in May, as sources reported that Ben and Jennifer were residing in different residences. They presented a unified appearance during graduation events and other important family occasions, but then pursued different summer activities. In July, they commemorated their second wedding anniversary separately.
"Considering everything that's going on, Jennifer is having a good summer. She's been off and able to focus on what's next. She’s enjoyed spending time with her kids, family and friends. She always has good attitude even when things are not perfect," the tipster claimed.
