Justin Timberlake, who is frantically trying to get back on the good side of his wife Jessica Biel, is loathing every minute of his new fitness routine, a new report claimed. The pop star has reportedly has modified his bad habits since his arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol earlier this summer.
Since the singer of "Cry Me a River," who is 43 years old, was taken into custody on June 18 in Sag Harbor, New York, for reportedly driving while under the influence of alcohol, his fans were concerned. During his show in Boston at TD Garden, he seemed to make light of the incident by asking the audience, “So uh, is there anyone here tonight that is driving and … no I’m just kidding.”
Nevertheless, there is one individual who does not find any of this to be humorous. “Part of Justin’s mea culpa to Jessica was to admit that he’d gotten into some bad habits and that he needs to dial everything way back,” an unnamed source told In Touch Weekly.
“He was busted with a vape pen, which is a big worry because of the affect it can have on his lungs. So he’s now agreed to totally ditch that for good, and he’s gone pretty much cold turkey on the booze, too,” the anonymous insider told the entertainment news outlet.
On the other hand, the informant claimed that Justin is not fully dry. “He’ll have the occasional glass of wine at dinner or on special occasions, but for the most part he’s committed to a very clean life, and it’s not been easy. He’s admitted to his friends that it’s very boring because there’s nothing to take the edge off, especially when he’s out on the road,” it stated.
Due to the fact that his "Forget Tomorrow" world tour started on April 29 in Vancouver and is set to end on December 20, the member of 'NSync has been under a great deal of stress this past week.
A judge temporarily suspended his driver's license during a court hearing in his driving while intoxicated case that took place earlier this month. This comes on top of his demanding performance schedule and his recent arrest.
While Justin is presently on tour in Europe, he made a remote appearance in court via Zoom on August 2 from Antwerp, Belgium. He entered a not guilty plea on the counts of driving while intoxicated before the judge.
Edward Burke Jr., Justin's attorney, was chastised by Sag Harbor Justice Carl Irace for "irresponsible" comments he made during the most recent court hearing, as per NBC News. Irace added that the comments “come off as an attempt to poison the case before it even begins.” Not only did Justin lose his driving privileges for the time being, but he also found out that his attorney had made the comments. “Think about the law … before making comments,” the judge stated.
The next hearing in the case is planned for September 13, although Justin will not be forced to present in person. It is not known how long the license of the singer who is known for the song "Can't Stop the Feeling!" will be suspended for.
When the singer is feeling anxious, he is “trying his best to sweat it out in the gym when he’s feeling antsy,” according to a tipster who spoke to In Touch Weekly. This is the singer's way of venting his frustrations.
“He’s still got his computer games to zone out with, but as far as vices go, they’re all gone — and, as anyone knows, it can a big adjustment period. But he’s promised his wife to clean up his act, and he’s sticking to it, no matter how tough it gets,” the mole went on.
