While Channing Tatum was on vacation, he was required to sign court paperwork in order to continue his legal battle with his ex-wife, Jenna Dewan. During this time, he was spending his weekend with his fiancée, Zoë Kravitz, at Taylor Swift's residence, a new report claimed.

In response to Jenna's recent attempt to disqualify his divorce attorneys, Channing, who is 44 years old, reportedly responded to the court records that were obtained by In Touch Weekly. As was initially reported, Jenna made the accusation that Channing was unwilling to hand over financial papers as part of the divorce proceedings between them.

The 43-year-old Jenna stated that Channing had lately hired a new company to collaborate with his existing staff. On the other hand, she stated that Channing was represented by the new firm during the marriage, and that there is a disagreement. It was her opinion that the company need to be removed from the lawsuit immediately.

Channing accused Jenna of bringing her request in a "transparent attempt to divert the court's attention from her willful violation of her court order deposition and discovery deadlines, delay these proceedings, and to prejudice [Channing] by removing his lead trial counsel less than three months before trial on a case that has been pending for more than six years."

Channing's new motion was filed in response to Jenna's request. Channing stated that the law firm in question had never been Jenna's legal representative.

“Neither law firm has ever had any possession of any of Petitioner’s confidential information. And, there is no applicable legal authority to support Petitioner’s claim that the attorney-client privilege extends to a spouse of a minority shareholder of a business entity,” Channing argued.

“Contrary to [Jenna’s] claims, [Channing] has fully complied with his discovery obligations and thus, that is not and cannot be a basis to delay the Court-ordered depositions and discovery or other Court-ordered deadlines any further,” his lawyer added.

“[Jenna] has known about Glaser Weil’s co-representation of [Channing] in this action with Blank Rome since May 2024. Yet, she waited until the eve of [Jenna’s] deposition (two months later) to make the baseless allegations,” he stated.

Channing requested that Jenna's motion, which he referred to as "frivolous," regarding the lawyers being disqualified be rejected. It was his request that she be punished with a fine of twenty thousand dollars for her activities, with the intention of "preventing such obstreperous behavior in the future."

Additionally, Channing stated that over the course of the past month, he has provided Jenna with more than 450 documents and financial accounting records, as per E! Online. Since their divorce in 2018, Jenna and Channing have been unable to come to an agreement over the distribution of the communal property that they jointly own.

The actress is of the opinion that she is entitled to a fifty percent share of Channing's investment in the Magic Mike business. Channing is of the opinion that Jenna ought to be given a share of the earnings, but he has not agreed to give her the fifty percent cut that she has demanded.

In a declaration that he submitted, the actor stated that he thought Jenna's request to be "another delay tactic to prolong resolution of our financial settlement." At this time, the former partners are slated to go to court in December to face each other.

On August 26, Channing put his signature on the declaration, which was recorded in Watch Hill, Rhode Island. Channing was seen in Rhode Island over the weekend when he was attending a birthday celebration for Blake Lively, who is 37 years old.

The party was held at Taylor's mansion, which stands in Watch Hill and costs $17 million. Bradley Cooper, Gigi Hadid, Patrick Mahomes, and his wife, Brittany Mahomes, were among the other guests who attended the event.
