There is no longer any "missing piece" for Lady Gaga. In a recent interview, the “Born This Way” singer, who is 38 years old, expresses her excitement about her engagement to Michael Polansky, her lover of five years.

2019 marked the beginning of her relationship with the computer entrepreneur, and during the epidemic, the two of them were confined to her house in Malibu.

“It was really kind of special. I’d been so focused on my career since I was a teenager. And the gift of that time was that I got to completely focus on my relationship. I met this totally supportive, loving human being who wanted to get to know me — outside of Lady Gaga,” Lady Gaga told Vogue Magazine.

An "absolutely horrible time" for her is the subject of her most recent album, "Chromatica," which was released in the year 2020.

“I was in a really dark place. I struggled for, like, many years. But everything started to change [after I met Michael]. Because I had a real friend who saw the ways in which I was unhappy and why. And he wasn’t afraid to truly hold my hand,” Lady Gaga said.

Fans might also ask for it during the marriage. The proposal was made by Michael in April, following a day spent rock climbing. “I kind of thought I was going to have to do this all by myself — forever. But] I don’t have to … anymore,” Lady Gaga shared.

Meanwhile, the song "Die With a Smile" by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars has maintained its position as the number one song on the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts for a third consecutive week. On each of the surveys, the duet made its debut three weeks early, coming in at the runner-up position.

The band's comeback song, "The Emptiness Machine," opens at No. 2 on the Global 200 and No. 3 on the Global Excl. U.S., Linkin Park achieves the highest debut on both the Global 200 and the Global Excl. U.S. charts.

Furthermore, Sabrina Carpenter has achieved a third week of success with three songs that have made it into the top 10 of both the Global 200 and the Global Excl. U.S. chart. These songs are all from her new album, Short n' Sweet, which has also achieved a third week at the top of the Billboard 200 chart in the United States.

In September 2020, Luminate began compiling the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts, which rate songs based on streaming and sales activity gathered from more than 200 regions around the world. These charts began ranking songs based on these types of activities. The Global 200 chart provides information from all over the world, while the Global Excl. the U.S. chart includes information from countries and regions that do not include the United States.

A weighted formula is used to determine the ranks of the charts. This formula takes into account official-only streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of audio and video music services, as well as download sales. Download sales are a reflection of purchases made from full-service digital music retailers from all over the world. However, sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) websites are not included in the calculations for the charts.

"Die With a Smile" remains at the top of the Global 200 chart with 111.4 million streams (an increase of 5% week-over-week) and 9,000 sales (a decrease of 10%) around the globe from September 6-12. With the release of the ballad on August 16, Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have both achieved their first No. 1 position on the chart since the list's inception.

The song "Birds of a Feather" by Billie Eilish has climbed three spots on the Global 200 chart, after spending three weeks at the top spot beginning in August.

Linkin Park's "The Emptiness Machine" launched at No. 3 on the Global 200 chart, marking the band's first top 10 position since the chart was initially introduced. The song has received 74 million streams and 19,000 sales across the globe from September 6-12, which is its first full tracking week; it made its debut at six o'clock Eastern Time on September 5. It is the lead single off “Zero,” which is Linkin Park's eighth studio album and is scheduled to be released on November 15. Since the passing of co-frontman Chester Bennington in 2017, this is the first album by the band that features completely new music, and it is also the first album that features vocalist Emily Armstrong.

It is noteworthy that "The Emptiness Machine" is the first leader on the list to also have hit the top three of the Global 200 chart at the same time that it is also flying to the top of the Hot Hard Rock Songs chart in the United States.

For the third week in a row, Sabrina Carpenter has three songs that have made it into the top 10 of the Global 200 chart: "Taste" falls to No. 4 from its previous high of No. 2; "Espresso" falls to No. 4-5 after spending three weeks at No. 1 which were not consecutive beginning in June; and "Please Please Please" falls to No. 5-6 after spending two weeks at No. 1 beginning in June as well. She has surpassed Eilish and Taylor Swift, who each had two weeks in the top 10 this year, becoming the first artist to achieve this feat in 2024. She has topped the top 10 for three consecutive weeks.

On September 6-12, "Die With a Smile" topped the global exclusives chart with 86.1 million streams (a 9% increase) and 5,000 sales (a 1% increase) outside of the United States. On the Global 200, it marked the first time that Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars have both topped the chart since the survey was first conducted.

The song "The Emptiness Machine" by Linkin Park has reached the number two spot on the Global Exclusivity U.S. chart, marking the band's first top 10 position. The song has received 60.8 million streams and 11,000 sales outside of the United States.

The song "Birds of a Feather" by Eilish falls three to four spots after spending three weeks at the top of the Global Excl. U.S. chart beginning in August; the song "Espresso" by Carpenter falls three to four spots after spending eight weeks at the top of the chart beginning in May; and Karol G's song "Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido" remains at number five after hitting number two.

In addition, Carpenter's "Taste" drops from its previous position of No. 4 on the Global Exclusivity U.S. chart to No. 6 on the same chart, while "Please Please Please" returns to the top spot after spending a week at the top of the chart in June. In addition to being the only artist to have achieved the distinction of having three songs simultaneously in the top 10 for several weeks this year, she has now accomplished this feat for a third week.
