After experiencing a torturous trial with his ex-wife in 2022, Johnny Depp is now enjoying a lot of happiness, including a shiny new pair of motorcycles to flaunt.
During his scandalous defamation case against actress Amber Heard, the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star's teeth were a complete disaster. However, reports suggest that he got them corrected to start a larger body makeover.
“He had no choice because his teeth were rotten and his breath reeked/ It was either get veneers or risk some serious health problems,” an unnamed source told The National Enquirer.
Tooth decay, according to medical professionals, can cause more problems than just an unsightly grin. Researchers have found a relationship between heart disease and the same kind of germs that cause tooth decay, as per Harvard Health. Plaque buildup is the root cause of both issues.
“Dental cavities are associated with infection that triggers an immune reaction, which in turn causes inflammation. Many medical studies show rotten teeth are associated with a significantly increased risk for heart attacks and premature death,” Florida-based longevity expert Dr. Gabe Mirkin told the entertainment news outlet.
In a recent video, Johnny appeared to be having a blast at a beachside bar in the Bahamas, laughing widely for the camera-wielding onlookers. Fans observed that his overall looks and smile looked much improved.
Johnny, 61, has a history of substance abuse, as most if not all, fans are aware. He reportedly struggled to cut back on alcohol and narcotics throughout his troubled marriage to Amber, 38, according to his friends.
The celebrity's health and star power took a sharp upturn after he triumphed over his ex in the internationally televised trial.
“Johnny’s snaggletooth situation was a result of all those years of letting himself go, drinking and lord knows what else. Now he’s done the dental work, and he can smile with confidence. His teeth absolutely gleam,” the anonymous insider stated to the entertainment news outlet.
This is said to be just the start of better things ahead.
“He wants to build up muscle and maybe have some nip/tucks. He’s finally going to do something about that pot belly, not to mention investing in some beauty rituals to polish up his skin, hair, and general appearance. People around him are saying it’s about time. They really like this guy, and his breath is a lot nicer too!” the undisclosed informant furthered.
