Melania Trump received criticism for publicly promoting her husband, Donald Trump.

According to the former first lady, the 78-year-old politician is "caring," and he's "really a family man." When asked about anything the public might not know about him, she gave those descriptions.

"He loves his family, he loves this country, and all he wants to ... build better and prosperous," she said during her interview on Fox News on Thursday, September 26. "All he wants to do, as he says, is Make America Great Again."

"He wants to make this country prosperous and safe for everybody," she continued. "He wants to make the American dream possible again."

Melania was accused by several Trump detractors in the comments sections of having been "paid" to praise her husband in that particular interview segment, which went viral and gained hundreds of thousands of views.

Another group brought attention to the alleged extramarital affairs of the troubled former president.

A commenter on X said, "Trump cheated on Melania with a p--- star while Melania was home with infant son Barron," alluding to the 78-year-old's rumored affair with Stormy Daniels.

Many people also took note of Melania's frequent separation from her husband and her lack of presence on the campaign trail.

Just one individual wrote, "Funny how when he’s in New York she’s in Florida and when he’s in Florida she’s in New York. Guess that’s all part of being a family man," and another person added, "She's such a phony liar."

According to a previous report by OK! Magazine, a grand jury decided to indict Donald on 34 counts of falsifying business paperwork in relation to a $130,000 hush money payment made to Stormy right before the 2016 election. This made him the first sitting president to face criminal charges.

According to the adult film star, he paid her to remain silent about an alleged sexual encounter that happened in 2006 after they met at a celebrity golf tournament—a year after he married Melania. This alleged meeting took place after they were married.

The 54-year-old "needs to leave" Donald, according to Stormy, who voiced her opinion after his guilty conviction on all counts, as per The Daily Mail.

"Not because of what he did with me or other women but because he is a convicted felon. It's been proven he is abusive; he was found liable for sexual assault and tax fraud and is now a criminal. He's neither Teflon Don nor Teflon Con anymore," she said in her statement back then.
