Rebel Wilson and Ramona Agruma are married.
The 44-year-old heroine of "Pitch Perfect" confirmed that she married her 40-year-old partner on Saturday, September 28, in Sardinia, Italy, in an Instagram post. The couple first disclosed their relationship in 2022.
The couple, who have a daughter named Royce Lillian, have never hesitated to publicly display their affection for one another on social media and wax poetic about their initial encounter, PEOPLE Magazine reported.
"We spoke on the phone for weeks before meeting," Wilson recounted the incident in a 2022 interview. "And that was a really good way to get to know each other. It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic."
When Rebel is working on her self-esteem, she believes that the qualities she values most in a partner also rise and that being in a healthy relationship with someone who feels the same way about her is lovely.
While she acknowledges that not all of her exes were wonderful, she does admit that there were instances when she likely tolerated things she shouldn't have. According to her, being in a healthy relationship is a new experience.
The jewelry designer's family has not been "accepting" of their relationship, despite the pleasure the "Bridesmaids" star and the Agruma have experienced. “And so, in many respects, it has been a lot harder for her to make the news public," she claimed.
She’s not in the public eye, so it’s much harder on her. On the "Life Uncut" podcast in Australia, Wilson acknowledged this. "It’s so sad to see what happened with her family over it. Hopefully, people will change their attitude about things," she stated.
The duo has maintained a unified front throughout, irrespective of the circumstances.
According to a Us Weekly source, Rebel is thrilled with her new relationship with her body and career. She is relieved that she was the one to reveal something so intimate to the world, even though she wasn't entirely prepared to do so last month. Not having to keep it hidden anymore has been a tremendous relief for her. She's glad she can finally show her fans these joyful occasions through images.
