Jennifer Aniston maintains a tight relationship with her co-stars on the "Friends" show, but her true best friends are her spoiled dogs. In fact, she was so devastated by the deaths of her prior pets that, according to those with knowledge of the situation, she is considering cloning her puppies, just like her hero, Barbra Streisand!
The three rescue dogs residing at Jen's mansion, valued at $25 million, are a gray schnauzer mix named Clyde, a black-and-white pit bull mix named Sophie, and a white shepherd mix named Lord Chesterfield. Jen is 55 years old.
“They have full run of her house, they’re totally spoiled,” a source shared to The National Enquirer. “She’s so attached to them that she’s researching the possibilities of having them cloned, so that when they do eventually pass it might be a little less painful.”
In addition, Clyde is now a celebrity in his own right because his animated doggie-ganger is featured in Jen's new children's book, "Clydeo Takes a Bite Out of Life." Additionally, he recently stole the spotlight from Jen while she was appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The star of "The Morning Show" is anxious about losing Clyde, Sophie, and Lord Chesterfield since she has experienced heartbreak. She was so heartbroken when her beloved Welsh corgi-terrier mix Norman passed away in 2011 that she had his name tattooed on her foot, as per PEOPLE Magazine.
According to National Enquirer, the death of her German shepherd Dolly in 2019 was so distressing that it brought her and her ex-husband Justin Theroux together for an emotional funeral, despite the fact that they had broken up the previous year.
“When she lost Norman, it absolutely wrecked her, and the same with Dolly — she’s dreading going through that agony again,” a snitch blabbed. “A few people have suggested she should look into cloning the three pups she has now just to ease the pain of the loss a little.”
It is pretty unlikely that Jen would be the first celebrity to copy and paste her adorable dogs! These two dogs were made from the cells of Barbra's late daughter, Samantha, who passed away in 2017, The New York Times reported. Barbra is 82 years old.
Even though Jennifer admires Barbra, she allegedly feels no remorse for her decision to clone her dogs. Because Norman and Dolly held such a special place in her heart, it is pretty likely that she would have cloned them if she could have. In addition, a source maintained that she is just as attached to her pets as she was before. This is not something that she is going to discuss in a publicly open manner.
Although it sounds very bizarre, she is looking into the possibilities. For the time being, she has not made any conclusions regarding this matter; nonetheless, it is undeniably something that she is interested in considering.
