Meghan Markle is in charge whenever Prince Harry is in another part of the world.
According to the insiders, the controlling and high-maintenance duchess is still striking the whip from a distance despite Prince Harry's flying around and appearing to be as free as a bird.
Even if oceans separate them, Harry, who is 40 years old, continues to be under the control of the former television actress Meghan Markle, who is 43 years old. She treats the former party animal as if she were the strict parent of a young teenager.
"He has to check in regularly and stick to her road trip rules, including a strict 11 p.m. curfew," the source told GLOBE Magazine.
Following a brief trip to England, the Duke of Sussex arrived in South Africa on October 1. Meanwhile, his wife of six years, Princess Lilibet, remained at home in Montecito, California, with their two children, Prince Archie, who is five years old, and Princess Lilibet, who is three years old.
It has become somewhat of a "regular thing" for Prince Harry to go outside the country without his wife, and there are "plenty more solo trips on his docket," the insider revealed.
According to a source, the pampered prince attempts to regain his place in the royal family four years after he and his wife abandoned their official responsibilities to pursue fame in Hollywood and leverage their celebrity status to secure lucrative business agreements.
"He's very keen to make a return to his family, that's partly why he's going home to visit so often. His intention is to spend a lot more time there," the source said.
When the arrogant pair fled England in 2020, Prince Harry asserted they were "fearing for their lives" and blamed the royal family for failing to safeguard his wife from a hostile press.
In the years that have passed, the demanding duke has made many journeys back to the United Kingdom; nevertheless, Meghan has not set foot on British soil since September 2022, when she attended the funeral of Harry's grandmother, the late Queen Elizabeth, as per BBC.
"She's made it very clear she doesn't want to go to England so the only option for Harry is to go without her," the source noted. "She's not panicking or worrying about him doing anything behind her back, or so she says. But there's no doubt it's difficult for her to have him away so often and she keeps close tabs on what he's up to and doesn't like the idea of him out late at night."
In the year 2012, photographs that leaked showed Prince Harry, a wild child, playing billiards with a bunch of girls while naked in a hotel room in Las Vegas, CNN reported. These photographs caused a sensation in the media.
It has been said that the scandal that followed the incident that was revealed continues to cause him anxiety.
The person with insider knowledge maintained that there would always be those who are attempting to catch him doing something inappropriate. This is a fact that cannot be denied. Not only would even the slightest indication of improper behavior on his part be embarrassing for him, but it would be far more embarrassing for Meghan.
She believes that someone in his position should not place themselves in any kind of circumstance that could expose them to the possibility of becoming the subject of rumors and speculation, and by extension, she should not be associated with him. Insiders revealed that the diva duchess started her American Riviera Orchard brand earlier this year. She is also reported to be concentrating on entrepreneurial projects and commercial enterprises while Prince Harry is working on charity endeavors. But their separate lifestyles do not mean Prince Harry is "totally off the hook " regarding Meghan.
According to the source, she insists he attends zoom meetings linked to their charity and numerous business initiatives, regardless of where he is located during those sessions. Even in the middle of the night, she anticipates he will be available to talk to her. Although he is content to comply with it, he is left feeling shattered and drained as a result.
