Although Miranda Lambert's marriage to Blake Shelton ended nine years ago, she continues to earn income from it. An unnamed source claimed she keeps focusing on him.

"Postcards From Texas" is an album that Miranda, who is 40 years old, just recently released. The album contains several songs that friends claim portray her awful divorce from Blake, who is now married to Gwen Stefani, who is 55. Despite this, she is married to Brendan McLoughlin, a former police officer who is 32 years old, PEOPLE Magazine reported.

Miranda stated in a recent interview with Variety that her current husband, Brendan McLoughlin, inspired her to abandon her career in the entertainment industry and pursue a career in Postcards. However, when the interviewer, Chris Willman, directly inquired about Shelton, Miranda avoided the topic (totally her prerogative), stating that she "just wasn't ready" to cut it yet.

The singer of "Mama's Broken Heart" modestly chooses not to reveal the subject matter of the songs; nonetheless, she admits that they are autobiographical. “I signed up to tell the truth,” she also stated. “And I just feel like it’s important to — good, bad and ugly — tell your story.”

Miranda's songs, on the other hand, seem to paint a favorable picture of her ex-husband despite the fact that they divorced in 2015 after an emotional four-year marriage.

Miranda performs the following lyrics on the track "Run": “Oh this freedom I found, babe, sure wasn’t free / I owe you a lifetime of apologies / I’m tellin’ the truth now / I loved you so much / I’m sorry for lyin’ about who I was.”

She had previously revealed in an interview with Kelliegh Bannen on "Today's Country Radio" that she had written "Run" more than a decade ago. In spite of this, she was unable to record the song because she believed that she would be required to perform it in person.

Throughout the years, Miranda has reportedly been reevaluating her broken relationship with Blake, as a friend of hers stated.

“Miranda is older and wiser now and she no longer lays all the blame at Blake’s feet,” spills the source to In Touch Weekly. “Now it still gives her fodder for writing hit songs!”
