It has been made public that Prince William, the Prince of Wales, has taken a step in mending his relationship with his brother, Prince Harry.
It is thought that Prince William announced Prince Harry's name for the first time in six years while speaking in a new documentary honoring their mother, Princess Diana. "Prince William: We Can End Homelessness" is a documentary title produced by ITV, The Mirror reported. It tells the story of how Diana took her two sons to a homeless shelter in London so that they might experience life without the amenities of the royal family.
The movie shows photographs of Prince William and Princess Diana that had not been seen before. These photographs were taken at The Passage shelter in Westminster. During a June 14, 1993 visit just a few days before his 11th birthday, Prince William is seen playing chess with a homeless man. This particular photograph was taken during the visit. In a different picture, Prince William is seen wearing a suit and carrying presents beside his mother in December.
Prince William remembered “making everyone feel relaxed and having a laugh and joking with everyone.” He added: “I remember thinking, at the time, ‘Well, if everyone’s not got a home, they’re all going to be sad.’ But it was incredible how happy an environment it was. I remember having some good conversations just playing chess and chatting. That’s when it dawned on me that there are other people out there who don’t have the same life as you do."
“When you’re quite small, you don’t really, you just think life is what you see in front of you, and you don’t really have the concept to look elsewhere and it’s when you meet people, I did then, who put a different perspective in your head and say like, well, ‘I was a living on the street last night’, and you’re like ‘woah,’ you know," the husband of Princess Kate went on.
During the first year of his Homewards initiative, the prince was observed for the offered programs. William has stated that the campaign is his primary long-term priority. He has also mentioned that when he was a boy, he went to shelters with his mother, who passed away.
This experience made a profound and long-lasting influence on him, it spurred him to work. With the goal of "making it rare, brief, and unrepeatable," Homewards intends to build a plan to eliminate homelessness in its diverse manifestations.
However, other reports suggested that Prince William is not a fan of his stepbrother, Tom Parker-Bowles, the son of Queen Camilla. The situation has reached such a stage that Wills contemplates leaving Christmas with the royal family if Tom is around to celebrate.
The Daily Beast reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton are "unlikely to attend" Christmas at Balmoral this year regardless of the circumstances. Still, they are "especially" likely to forgo the occasion if Camilla invites Tom.
Prince William is concerned about Tom's "rather louche lifestyle as a Mayfair bon vivant," according to a source who has made the statement to the outlet in the past. The source also stated that it is best to avoid mentioning Tom around William. But whatever it may mean.
Recently, Tom has received a great deal of press for his new cookbook, PEOPLE Magazine reported. He recently gave an interview to People magazine in which he discussed King Charles's health in the wake of his cancer diagnosis.
There is no information available regarding Prince William's feelings about Tom's press tour because it appears that he is not a big admirer of his family members who have interviewed him for their books, such as Prince Harry's "Spare." However, if they decide to spend Christmas together, royal followera can't wait for the courtiers to reveal their secrets!
