Vanessa Hudgens shared a glance behind the scenes of a date night with her husband, Cole Tucker.
The former cast member of "High School Musical," who is now 35, posted a comical photograph on Instagram. The photo was taken on a street corner with poor lighting. The photo included herself and the baseball player, who is 28 years old, smiling and posing for the camera.
According to PEOPLE Magazine, a floor-length red satin dress and a black blazer were the only pieces of clothing that Hudgens wore. She also wore her hair down in a delicate, naturally curled way. Tucker, on the other hand, wore dress pants that were gray and slim-fitting. He paired them with a plaid blazer that matched his pants and a button-down shirt that was white and traditional beneath. In addition to wearing his long hair pulled back into a ponytail, he finished off his outfit with a pair of sparkling black dress shoes.
"Call for a good time," Hudgens captioned the photo.
This post is somewhat unusual because Hudgens and Tucker, who tied the knot in December 2023, have maintained a shallow profile in their personal life ever since they became parents to a child together over the summer. The news that she had given birth on July 3 was initially revealed by TMZ, which also published photographs of the actress and the newborn as they journeyed home from the hospital on the same day.
Hudgens admitted that she was not the first person to announce the news of the arrival of her kid in a post that she uploaded on Instagram Stories on July 4. She also voiced her disapproval of the photographs being made public.
"We're disappointed that our family's privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media," she wrote then. "Despite all of that, mom dad and baby are happy and healthy."
In May, Hudgens gave an interview to E! News in which she discussed her intentions for raising her child. She shared with the publication that she intends to present her children with all of her films and television series when they are older.
"I'll show my kids all my work. That's why I chose things along the way in my career. I wanted to make sure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age," she explained.
