Kimberly Guilfoyle is getting ready to embark on her mission as an ambassador to Greece. Meanwhile, Donald Trump Jr. and his new girlfriend Bettina Anderson are enjoying a romantic vacation in Venice, Italy.
According to Page Six, through the use of Instagram Stories, Anderson has been sharing certain moments from her vacation to Europe.
In addition to sharing photographs of herself riding in a gondola, the socialite also shared an old photograph of her model mother, Inger, receiving a kiss while riding in a gondola. The photograph was taken many years ago.
She also shared a picture of the well-known Cipriani logo, as well as a pair of Frette slippers, which are typically made available at high-end hotels. When it comes to Instagram, however, there are no pictures of Don Jr. on the trip.
The previous week, photographs surfaced showing Trump Jr., who is 46 years old, holding hands with Anderson, who is 38 years old, after they attended a dinner in Palm Beach to celebrate Anderson's birthday. Page Six was informed by a spy that they were observed "kissing" and holding hands while they were inside the eatery.
President-elect Trump appointed Guilfoyle to the position of United States Ambassador to Greece on the same day that it was reported on the break. The appointment is contingent upon Senate ratification.
"Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond," Don Jr. exclusively told Page Six in a statement. "I could not be more proud of her and the important role she'll continue to play in my father's administration."
The political scion escorted the socialite to Mar-a-Lago, where they were met by Trump, according to sources. This visit took place one day after the relationship between Don Jr. and Anderson became public knowledge. The couple allegedly "paraded their love for all to see," according to a source.
In the meantime, sources reveal that Anderson has expressed a desire to become more involved in political circles. According to the New York Post, Anderson has reportedly expressed an interest in serving on one of the community outreach boards or advisory groups associated with the Trump White House. This information was provided by a source close to the transition preparations.
According to another source familiar with the conversations, she has been particularly vocal about her desire to be appointed to the highest position on the President's Committee on the Arts and Humanities.
During the previous Thursday, the newlyweds were seen by the Daily Mail boarding an aircraft from Miami International Airport to Madrid, Spain.
Business Times has reached out to Bettina Anderson for comments.
