Hugh Jackman is supporting Sutton Foster amidst speculation of an affair before their separation from their ex-partners.

The "X-Men" actor was captured in photographs attending the actress's play of "Once Upon a Mattress" at the Ahmanson Theatre in Los Angeles on Saturday, according to images acquired by the gossip blog Deuxmoi.

Jackman radiated joy while seated next to Hollywood luminary Carol Burnett, who portrayed Foster's character, Princess Winnifred, in the original 1959 production.

An informant told Deuxmoi that the actor raised his phone to capture an image of the 91-year-old "Annie" star as she garnered a "massive applause" from the audience at the show's interval.

Jackman, 56, openly expressed his support for Sutton, 49, following Page Six's revelation that their connection blossomed. At the same time, they co-starred in the Broadway musical "The Music Man" from December 2021 to January 2023.

Shortly after the program's conclusion, the "Logan" star and his former spouse, Deborra-Lee Furness, announced their split following 27 years of marriage that September.

Jackman and Furness, in a joint statement released to PEOPLE Magazine in September, expressed that they had been fortunate to share nearly three decades together as husband and wife in a remarkable, affectionate marriage. However, their path is now diverging, and we have resolved to part ways to pursue our unique development.

Jackman and Furness affirmed that their family has been and will remain their utmost priority. The couple embarks on this new chapter with gratitude, affection, and compassion, expressing their deep appreciation for the public's understanding in honoring their privacy as their family navigates this adjustment in their lives.

A Broadway insider informed Page Six that the couple's separation was anticipated, particularly following the Australian actress's conspicuous absence from "The Music Man" rehearsals.

Foster subsequently initiated divorce proceedings from her second husband, Ted Griffin, in October 2024, after a decade of matrimony, as exclusively reported by Page Six. In that same month, sources disclosed that Jackman and Foster were officially in a relationship.

"They are 100 percent together and are in love and want to spend the rest of their lives together," an unnamed source told Page Six. It was also reported that the star of "The Greatest Showman" and the actress from "Younger" are "in love" but are concealing their romance.

"They spend all of their free time together. They are a regular couple, they are just in private," the tipster furthered.

In light of reports of their romance, a friend of Furness openly addressed the speculation around the affair between Jackman and Foster, asserting that the rumors were "accurate."

The couple has refrained from publicly discussing their love and has allegedly relished their secret romance to facilitate their natural growth together.

Us Weekly reports that the actors frequently stroll through Central Park and dine at various restaurants in New York City.
